  1. Coldplay’s Chris Martin dines at Zuma Martin NIKI NIKOLOVA / GETTY IMAGES BY LESLEY ABRAVANEL [email protected] Chris Martin, in town for a Coldplay concert this weekend, seems to have the same preference for restaurants as his wife Gwyneth Paltrow, a longtime frequent diner at Zuma London. Martin spent more than three hours Wednesday night at Miami’s Zuma with a large group. Read more here: http://www.miamiherald.com/2012/06/2...#storylink=cpy
  2. Coldplay's Chris Martin Dines At Zuma Not much of an article after all, moved it to Miami gig thread.
  3. Most of that article is based on this interview last November, in Norway. They even erroneously attributed Will's quote to Jonny. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oTiX1bJDDPc]Coldplay - Interview + Paradise (Live) - YouTube[/ame]
  4. Geez! No, not necessarily. People who've known me for years still butcher my name all the time.
  5. The instrumentation is wonderful. I'd ditch the vocals, no offense.
  6. I woke up last year in about February, not that I'd been asleep for January.
  7. Not really. I got it right just by reading the title, perhaps b/c I have an interest in Emily and have been reading articles about her.
  8. You don't agree with the article. The author stopped at AROBTTH:D
  9. Other questions while in the limo on our way to the airport. “Do you have children? No? Are you scared of living your life alone? He reflects. “I will be 44 in ten years. Dangerous age for a singer. Do you imagine yourself in ten years? Please answer this at least.” An old journalist who writes books about the loneliness of rock stars. “I will not be in that book,” he replies at once. “I want to be like Bruce Springsteen when I’m 60!” Good for you!
  10. TY my dear. I've tried every single search engine for months and this article will just not come up.
  11. That's simply Chris being Chris. Remember "it's getting hot in here", "how can we be lovers if we can't be friends", "I feel like a woman", etc? He's quick, smart, and considerate that way. As it's already been said here, he just wanted to acknowledge 1 of 1D members presence. Coldplay makes beautiful music, but many bands do. The reason some of us are fans is b/c of their personalities, particularly Chris Martin's. He's very humble and down to earth. He'd be flattered if Miley Cyrus wanted to meet him. I hope he never changes, and I don't think he will.
  12. I stink but I'm in the greatest band in the world. If you're really a girl with passion, then you should fancy Jonny cause he's the one I reckon. Will is basically attached, Guy is too sexy for anyone's good. My money's on Jonny, he's got it all. BBC Radio1 backstage at London Kentishtown forum, August 2002.
  13. Geez! I've been searching for this article for several months now. All the while you were sitting on it? Sheesh!;)
  14. Coldplay taught Emeli Sande to be disciplined on stage Coldplay have taught Emeli Sande to be disciplined on stage and the 'Heaven' hitmaker says supporting the band on tour has shaped her own performances. Coldplay taught Emeli Sande to be disciplined on stage. The 'Heaven' singer - who supported Coldplay on their 'Mylo Xyloto' European tour in 2011 - has revealed watching the British band in action has shaped her own performances as well as teaching her to be considerate behind the scenes. Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz at the O2 Silver Clef Awards in London today (29.06.12) - where she picked up the American Express Innovation award - Emeli said: ''When you watch them onstage it's so energetic, but there's still an intimacy to it. So I guess I've learned that from them, and there's such discipline going on with them behind the scenes. ''Everything is very considered and everybody is very welcome and those are things I'll take with me for the rest of my career.'' The 'Paradise' hitmakers were so impressed with the 24-year-old singer-songwriter that they invited her back to join them on their US tour in July and August. BRIT Critics' Choice Award winner Emeli added: ''I've had a few conversations with Chris [Martin] and I see them when they're coming on and I'm going off, but the main thing I've learned from them is seeing them onstage and how it all operates.'' Emeli has also admitted that there was a lot of pressure on her to perform with the seven-time Grammy Award winning group, and the nerves took over at first. ''The first show we did was in Glasgow, so that was a home crowd. It's difficult because you think, 'This is a crowd which came for Coldplay, how will they react to my music?' ''But after the first gig, it was just fantastic! Then we had a great time around Europe and we were invited back to perform with them in America.'' link
  15. That Chris Martin knows a thing or 2 about music. I'm not into Kanye's music myself, and was surprised to learn he wrote this: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HgnFKNvmV7o]Heartless Cover - The Fray - YouTube[/ame]
  16. I was planning to ride Marta from North Springs, but now I'm learning that I'd have to change trains to get to Philips Arena. That makes me a bit nervous b/c this is only my 2nd time taking public transportation. Going to Piedmont Park last September was so simple b/c everyone was pretty much going in the same direction. So is anyone else parking at North Springs? I'm going alone and might have to drive all the way and find a parking lot closer to the venue if I don't get a Marta riding buddy.
  17. Self proclaimed Coldplay oldest groupie?
