First show of the final leg of the tour in South America. I'm here on the queue. It's going to be amazing. Matt Whitecross is here to record some footage for a live DVD. He is going to record the first two shows here in Brazil and the last ones in Argentina. There are rumours they are going to play 2 more songs in the setlist. Why? Why most of the brilliant songs from Coldplay are in B-sides and EP? Same case with Moving To Mars and GhostStory (which was one of the better songs of that era). I think they have less self pressure than when they have to release LP. And for that they are more open to experimentation. Maybe I'm wrong. It's just a theory. "All I Can Think about is You" is the cousin of "Always in my Head"? LOL Yes that title is really cheese even for Coldplay standards. But who knows, maybe the song is good. I can understand the hate for SJLT specially If you became fan of the band after listen the first two albums and really like X&Y and VLVODAAHF. I like it. Its not my favorite Coldplay song but I found it better than the worst Coldplay songs like POC, ASFOS, XMTS. I'm expecting ALIENS being a more guitar driven song. Maybe a psychedelic song or even a rock song. I don't know what to think about Miracles 2. Maybe is a completely different song from Miracles? I love Hypnotised. Same here. George Michael music never was my cup of tea, but that was a lovely tribute and Chris vocals was on point. Coldplay performance with The Chainsmokers was pretty good. I don't know what to said about the song yet. I guess I have to hear the recorded version. Its really a Chainsmokers song and sounded like a better EDM than ASFOS. Coldplay are too popular now and because of that everything they will do will sucks. I think now that the hype is certainly over we can give a proper opinion for the album. What songs changed your opinion about it? What songs you start to like or dislike? How is your Coldplay LP ranking now? The reason I started the topic with this title is because I think AHFOD is a pretty good album for this current radio friendly Coldplay. Not just pretty good, I think is their best LP since Viva. This doenst mean that I think the album is flawless or one of their best efforts, bla bla bla. This means more of how much I dislike Ghost Stories and Mylo Xyloto as an album. I know this is probably the most unpopular opinon here. People seems to hate this album haha. But I want to find the fewer ones that aggree with me. Damn. I love this riff! I think we can all aggree that we were expecting something very different from what AOL really is. But I like AOL very much, one of the strongest songs on the album for me. I hope you are wrong haha. To be fair Chris just listen everything haha, he said was listen to Dire Straits Romeo and Juliet other day. He was prasing Beyoncé and other pop acts long before the poppier LPs like Viva, MX, GS and AHFOD. He is very open minded about music(for better or for worse). That being said I get your point.
