Thanks for the review...? Lol Coldplay hasn't been Indie since Parachutes... Indie rock bands nowadays aren't indie the second they release album number 2. Edit: I feel like whoever wrote that took half the review from another review cause I've read it before.

Sadly I don't think that Charlie Brown will ever surpass Paradise or PoC just because it wasn't a single and it doesn't have Rihanna in it... The casual listener is 1000 times more likely to listen to a song with Rihanna in it than a song named after a peanuts character.

Can we just never discuss this album or post reviews in this forum again? Most people like it, about 15% don't. those 15% are just more vocal and annoying that the complicit ones who like it.

You will enjoy this album if you don't go i expecting AROBTH, Parachutes, or VLV... MX is something massively different. If you going by reviews heres how it breaks down: -The people who like it and are open to it -The people who will always hate Coldplay -The people who wanted AROBTH II or VLV II and didn't get it so they are going to complain about it Hell I saw one review that said it was too happy... So yeah. Also looks at the iTunes ratings... people overall love it. Hey, how about you make a useful post every now and then huh? Because you just stating what MX has on Metacritic is already very old.

Im curious is there an audible difference between the iTunes version (256) and MP3 (320). Im trying to decide what to do with my download and if it doesn't sound any better I'll gift it to someone. Thanks in advance! P.S. - its 320 right?

Had the same problem: -Change "Artist" to Coldplay -Delete "Album Artist" hit "ok" then go back in and change "Album Artist" back to Coldplay

Wow... yup all these reviews are null, you know why? Go read the Washington Post's review. Not only does they state that lyrics from Paradise come from ETIAW but they state that the line "The wheel breaks the butterfly" is made up... so yeah. Oh and also the same "journalist" who wrote the review also wrote the article "Fashion Do's and Don'ts of Fall Fashion" ... Seriously I feel like I should write a review based on the fact that I go to college...

The BIG problem with Metacritic and all those aggregate websites is that they do not include reviews without ratings... also even if its 100 reviews up there... that's just 100 people's opinions... 100 people who got journalism degrees and couldn't cut it in print so they went online, and because the pop culture section was already covered by Suzie Newsworthy, they decided to take over music. Cause hey they like music! And they once listened to half of Journey's "Don't Stop Believing" before they passed out doing shots while studying for their journalism final.

Charlie Brown is really climbing, its made up more ground in 12 hours than most songs ever do. Currently: Overall #66, Alt #5 -- Also Paradise is really the #1 song overall because you can't even download the single anymore.

I just got it too, but bit the bullet last night and DL it off iTunes (Mainly so my bro could have it too, we share an iTunes account for music). Anyone know if they are the same version or if one has better quality? If they are they same I think I'll give this one away as a gift. P.S. - does the MP3 come with album artwork? if so which one?

While you wait checkout iTunes if your in the US, Paradise is both #2 and #10 on the alt charts swell as #10 and #101 overall... stupid iTunes.
