  1. Hmm whats funny is that within 12 hours its the top selling album and has over 2500 ratings and 108 pages of reviews on the US iTunes store. The only bad part is that PoC is the top downloaded track from it... boo. Charlie Brown is next followed by Paradise and HLH.
  2. If that email isn't her by 12:10... bye bye $10
  3. Album only $10... must resist wait for pop-up email... P.S.- Will it be a DL link to iTunes?
  4. Heh... I'll show you my pop-up version.
  5. "Might have to go where they don't know my name/ Float all over the world just to see her again" I love how the song just turns around at this point, and it describes a feeling I know all too well.
  6. I agree! Don't Shoot Me Santa was great lol
  7. Can we all just learn that voice fx =/= auto tune.
  8. Eh... The Killers have missed a few times Happy Birthday and the one about Joseph were awful.
  9. Eh alot of bands do that now though, it wouldn't be insane for them to do it but after Christmas Lights, well it would be hard to follow up. I do think that we'll see them put it back in the live show for the Xmas season.
  10. It was a short but funny interview, probably one of the best I've seen for MX. As for the Christmas song, you never know... hell the Killers manage to pull one out of their ass every year, although I love Christmas Lights so much I'd rather it be the only one they do lest the other ones be not so good or... Like some drunken Elvis singing', I'll go singing out of tune... Credo Elvem Etiam!
  11. Its funny that just came up in Chris' interview with Colbert. I wasn't sure if he was joking to mess with Colbert (Which Colbert responded to with a "fuck you") or if he was being serious. I doubt they'll have a lot of time to write and record a new song, but maybe they have something in the bank?
  12. Thanks, I missed that. I'm assuming that its just going to be a single and nothing more cause its so close to release. After that I think we'll see Charlie Brown with a B-Side or two, simple because if it does in other countries what its doing in Japan it will be a massive hit with 0 promotion. Single nowadays = Widest appeal and not just for Coldplay for any band.
  13. Its actually really impressive that its at #1 cause there aren't even samples up... and its still on pre-order, I can't think of another album that has done this on iTunes.
  14. It took me about a month of listening to define Viva, it seemed to be all over the place at first to me. Right now I would describe MX as... Urban, Busy... Actually the best way I can define it is New York City. I can listen to any of these songs and imagine different scenes across the city. Edit: Also you missed #3
  15. So this song come from: -Chris' scooter getting stolen and him wondering about the journey it took after -Chris spending time in a dollhouse with his daughter -Guy and Chris wondering what it would be like to be a cartoon -Charlie Brown And I swear the music video for this better be animated peanuts style and end with Chris and Linus doing a paino duet.
  16. So wait did they like it or didn't they?
  17. Yeah it seems like reviewers or people in general either love it or hate it, we're seeing a lot of 9's a 10 or two and a bunch of 5-6 so an average score of 7-8 seems feasible. Although a lot of the 5-5 seem to be of the "This isn't Coldplay" or "I hate Coldplay vein". Even a few reviews that don't seem that bad but end up giving them a 5/10 lol. I can't wait to see Pitchfork... oh boy they'll probably give it a 1 just to stay relevant haha. Actually a few of the reviews on that site have been around for about a month now (Spin and Uncut) so its safe to say those reviews were a bit pre-emptive only talking about half the songs.
  18. Hey bud, that doesn't include a few reviews. Or reviewers like MTV who don't give it a quantifiable rating. The more you know.
  19. I find it funny how they accost Coldplay when they use electronics, yet everyone in the world seems to love Foster the People hahahaha
  20. Whats funny is reviewers keep looking for a coherent story here... but Coldplay themselves said the story is very loose in concept and had become more of a theme than a story.
  21. "1000-1 (Ballad Of …) Aiko Alien Radio >>> Possibly UFO Alive Day Arabesque Boyfriend Buzz Car Kids Cartoon Head >>> Charlie Brown Cartoon Heart >>> Charlie Brown Christmas Lights --- Single Drunks And Guns >>> ETIAW? Famous Old Painters --- DOA Gardeners On The Frontline Great Expectations Harbingers Of Doom Harmony Hook Up If I Ever Fall In Love Again It Was A Wonderful Day Love In A Lethal Dose Lucky Sevens Sex Violence Space Symphony Spanish Rain --- DOA Wedding Bells >>> UFO Wilderness Wondering Star" There are also a number of these that were scrapped and made into new songs. Realistically the only hints we have at B-Sides are: Great Expectations, Tomorrow, Car Kids, Alien Radio?, Under 1 Roof, Golden Arrow (I think it became part of DLIBYH) and REX.
  22. 21, the number of people Adel has consumed.
  23. No surprise there. And if Japan is any indication Charlie Brown and HLH should be up there on the singles charts.
