I think they are still work shopping it. The "Piano" may also be a guitar pedal Johnny has, kind of like the strokes and how their guitars sometimes sounds pianoish.

Remember, they really don't have a lot of choice over what to play or how long they have to play... they are just given a time slot to fill.

Each member of the band dressed as a different explorer each traveling around London in search of a lost boy... but all they find is a elephant in an alley freaking out on drugs... so you could "translate" it? If anything the shots were too jumpy, they could have focused on one thing for a second or two more. But the way it is shot goes with the song. P.S. - Coldplay.com calls it the next single, so I guess we will be getting it soon!

The Radio edit essentially has the intro and outro (Piano) cut out, we may not like it but it makes the song much more upbeat and radio friendly. Im expecting to see it plastered all over "2011 Year in Review" Videos on various news stations.

The voice of Snoopy in the peanuts cartoon is actually someone's voice sped up at around 4 times normal speed. Like wise the intro noises in the song Charlie Brown are Chris singing the lines "All the boys, all the girls, etc..." sped up at 4 times the speed.

Its simple, name the album sides. Much like Stadium Arcadium had Mars and Jupiter, MX needs proper names because of how different the two sides are. My Idea: Side A - Alien Radio Side B - Major Minus Media Like each side is a radio station with its own set of songs, one the rebelling radio station and the other the station of big corporate media... which happens to have Rihanna on it >.>

Eh PoC is doing fine w/o a single and to be honest Im not sure if it will be single unless Chris feels he can sing both parts live and the song still live up to what they think it should be. Sadly the mass appeal of that song is Rihanna so unless the single comes with a Rihannaless version playing it live might be a bit of a let down to some fans (not me).

Between Viva La Vida (The song) and MX's more mainstream sound Coldplay has gained a lot of new fans. Edit: Sidenote, A Very She & Him Christmas is the #9 album overall. W00T!

The singles thing is true, and whats impressive is that PoC and CB are doing well on iTunes without singles. PoC is around #4 overall and CB is #5 Alt and peaked at #39 overall, and lets face it the radio will eat up both of those songs. Although I'd bet money the radio version of Charlie Brown doesn't have the piano outro.

I've hated pitchfork since they mercilessly bashed TATE's first album.
