Probably Up With The Birds. As you said, and Chris has also said in an interview, it wouldn't really work live with all the weird sound effects and 'uhhhh' sounds. DLIBYH as we all know has been soundchecked so it'll probably be played some time this year. Princess of China only be played when they can duet with Rihanna, which could mean only the Grammies. I reckon U.F.O. will be one of those songs like Parachutes or Reign Of Love which Chris will spontaneously play as an intro to another song, and we'll probably only hear it a couple of times if ever.

There's someone in my Physics class who keeps whistling during lessons, and whenever I try to figure out who it is they stop, so I can't tell who it is. :lol: I've heard them whistling Clocks and Paradise before, so I wonder if they are a Coldplay fan :laugh3:

But the chorus of Clocks is basically "Yoooooouuuuuu aaaaaaaaaaare" repeated over and over... and what about songs like 42 and Death And All His Friends that have NO chorus... A song doesn't need a proper chorus to be a good song. It mainly needs to be catchy, which most of the MX choruses are.

Yeah, it seems likely :lol: If it were up to me I would have left THP off X&Y, then maybe released the piano version as a B-Side to Violet Hill or something? That would cut some of the length off X&Y, and another single could have taken its place like White Shadows.

Yeah, Ritual definitely isn't as good as TLML. Though TLML was an amazing debut, so that's not really saying much :P Does anyone else think Come Down is a bit of anticlimax to the album?:\ I think The Power & The Glory would have been a better finisher.

So does Chris only dislike the studio version of THP? Because that would make sense if he only likes playing the piano version live.

I have no idea why everyone hates it. :( I used to like it, but since joining here and hearing all the negative vibes towards it it's sort of ruined the song for me. :( I've heard people complain about the lyrics, but surely the lyrics aren't so bad they ruin the whole song? :\

I seriously can't pick a favourite. But I voted for Major Minus because I think it deserves a lot more love than it's getting :P I think I like it because it's one of the more underrated 'darker' Coldplay songs. Like Spies, Daylight, White Shadows, Low, Cemeteries Of London, Yes, Chinese Sleep Chant etc....

Well, I once had a dream that I was at a Coldplay concert (I think it was during the Summer/Festival tour last year), and it was shortly after they announced the Rihanna duet on Princess of China. In the middle of the concert Chris said they were going to play a new song called Princess of China and that he needed someone from the audience to do the female voice part. A random group of people were chosen from the audience and to my surprise I was one of them :shocked2: We went behind the stage and someone (I think it may have been Phil Harvey, or Roadie 42) picked me from the group and I was so shocked I just stood there. Everyone was waiting for me to go on stage and I was trying to tell them that I couldn't sing. I didn't want to go on stage because 1. Obviously I'm a guy and have quite a deep voice so it would be weird doing the female part of the song :thinking: 2. I didn't know the words of the song at the time and 3. I am a terrible singer :lol: But at the same time I didn't want to disappoint Chris so I had a terrible dilemma. :( In the end however, I woke up so I never got to find out what happened. :\
