  3. Prospekt's March i find it in you
  4. Apparently CB was originally gonna be acoustic with Will playing the accordion, so I'm guessing if there ever was an acoustic version it would have the main riff played with an accordion.
  5. Well, when I first looked at the MX graffiti wall I saw what I thought looked like 'Painless' or 'Paingess' but I later realised it said Princess. I do agree that Chris' handwriting is hard to read
  6. I have tried to like Muse, but I just can't. :\ However, I do like the song Starlight. It's nice and catchy :) Also I have to say the same for Radiohead, as I have listened to a couple of their albums but the only songs that really did anything for me were No Surprises and Karma Police.

  12. Moving to Mars :awesome: in a letter
  13. Having had considerable time to ponder, I decided to have a guess at what a 'best of' album might look like if the band themselves made it. (i.e. the songs are those that I think the band themselves like and not just greatest hits) I went for a 2-disc set, similar to the Stereophonics' Decade in the Sun album, with Disc 1 being the big hits and singles and Disc 2 being not-so-well-known-but-equally-good-songs:
  14. as far as I can see, that list isn't very up to date, as most of the MX era songs aren't on it. So don't worry too much that Car Kids isn't on it
  15. Pour Me long, long time
  16. I discovered these guys back in June when they were supporting Kings of Leon and I have to say I was surprised at how good they were! I really liked the 5 or 6 songs they played (Death, Bigger Than Us, Farewell to the Fairground etc) but other than that I haven't really heard any of their songs. Does anyone have any suggestions of songs/albums I should check out?
  17. happy new year's eve eve eve eve eve eve eve! :D oh and, er, that other thing that happens today. whatever that is.
  18. ummmmm. I don't think Christmas Lights counts as MX era. Maybe it's just me, but I feel as it's a Christmas song it doesn't fall into any particular era. Also, a few of those 'song names' are wrong. (I'm pretty sure Paingess and The Wheat Breaks Butter are just mis-interpreted lyrics from the graffiti wall)
  19. Ah, who could forget such timeless classics as Don T Panic, Hurts Likeheaven and A Massage? :laugh3:
  20. 'Paingess' = 'Princess' (of China)
  21. Was a long and dark December From the rooftops I remember There was snow, white snow... (I wish :()
  22. it would be so awesome if someone at coldplay.com sees this and it ends up on their twitter! :D
  23. WHY do they always soundcheck songs that they don't play? First they soundcheck Swallowed in the Sea in Glasgow, now LIJ and DLIBYH too?? They are trying to kill off their fans. :(
  24. Everything's Not Lost could be worse
