I agree with that. Im not going to like or dislike the song until I have heard it with her on it. For all we know, it might sound good! no one will know for sure until we get to hear it.:)

when you leave the Viva concert and you cry tears of joy the whole way home from it!!! Best night of my life! ( I also cried when they performed Fix You, of course!) I drive my husband nuts I love them so much. Hes probaly sick of hearing me talk about Coldplay all the time.:laugh3:

If POC is their favorite song on the album, I can't help but be curious as to how its going to sound with Rihanna. I dont think October is getting here fast enough for us all, because if you like the direction Coldplay is going with MX or if you dont, it sure is making us all curious as to what the album as a whole is going to sound like! ;)

Sounds like you have been many different places! Ive never been out of the US. I have a few friends in Columbus, and indeed it really has turned into a ghost town. I would love to move back to MN some day, but I bet my husband wont budge from here cause he grew up in Cincinnati. ....And yeah, I would assume that if Coldplay comes to MN, it will be an indoor concert(gotta luv the snow!! ha ha) Ive only seen Coldplay, Incubus ,Staind and Papa Roach in concert, and they were all great shows, with my obvious fav being the Coldplay concert. It was wonderful, I've never been to a better show!

I was born in MN, moved to Ohio when I was 3,(thanks to my dad's job) transfered BACK to MN when I was 16(dad's job again!) and moved back down here when I was 18( you guessed it, my dad's job again!) its a bit complicated! ha ha ....And I have unfortunately only have had the opportunity to see Coldplay that one time 2 years ago, so I dunno if they have a pit set up in non-outdoor venues. Im guessing they probaly do, maybe without seating? Wish I knew!:confused:

When they came to my town, they played in a pavillion-type outdoor venue. There were seats in the pavillion(my tickets were in that area) ,there were like 40 rows there, and then there were the lawn seats, out literaly on the lawn behind the pavillion, that were first come ,first serve basis for one base price. But its most likely based on what type of venue thats in your town that determines what the seating situation is like. :)

This is a crazy small world!!! If you lived around Cincinnati, then I will be freaking out! ...I used to live in Anoka back in MN.

Yeah, I felt that $110 was a bit pricey, but I wanted to see them so bad and it was well worth the cost in the end! Maybe the prices vary per venue. Im hoping they announce something soon about a US tour, I definately want to go see them again! (and i noticed you are from Minnesota! Im originally from MN as well. I love it there and miss it very much. Lucky you that you get to live there! ) :)

Moving to Mars as of right now. Perhaps I will change my mind when I hear the studio version of UIF. I like it, but Moving to Mars adds more to the song as it goes on and it sounds beautiful! There wasnt alot of build-up with UIF, but I still like it.

Wish I could have been there! :( ....it sounded really good, but my stupid computer kept buffering the live feed so I definately had some gaps of nothing during songs! "Fix You" was great, made me cry(like it does everytime I hear it!) Politik is still a rocking concert song! I thought Paradise sounded pretty good. ...I just hope they announce a North American tour soon. I saw them on the Viva tour, I'm more than ready to see them again. :)

I liked the studio version, and I am absolutely loving the live version! I thought it sounded great! Looking forward to October and hearing the songs off the album that we haven't got to hear yet. :)

I never disliked it, the first listen just really caught me off guard. I wasnt expecting it. I've listened to it many more times and I like it a little more each time. Im always gonna be a fan of all the previous work, with my standout favs remaining (like -Amsterdam,The Scientist, Politik, A Message) but Im willing to try this new stuff out too. The first time I heard the entire Viva album, it shocked me. I didnt know what to think. Then I continued to listen to it, and it clicked. I feel MX will be the same. Its like a new pair of shoes- you gotta break it in! :)

when I saw them on the Viva tour, I spent $110 bucks per ticket for me and my husband(with taxes of course) and we had really good seats. (I saw them in the town I'm currently residing in, Cincinnati, Ohio) we were only like 12 rows back! it was AMAZING! i dont remember what the cheapest(the lawn seats) cost, it was over 2 years ago.

I am looking forward to the studio version of UATW as well!!! Loved the live version, betting the studio version will be even better(if possible) :)

im still just looking forward to a new cd after 3+ LONG years! im not gonna make a final verdict until i hear the entire album. so im still excited for it and i still luv coldplay!

Not a big Rhianna fan, but i sdore Coldplay and give them credit for trying new things. im just gonna wait and see what the song sounds like with her on it. im gonna try to open minded about it,which is hard for me. still massively looking forward to the new album. its been a LONG 3 and a half years!
