Really??? ...I mean, seriously? "Paradise" is a beautiful instrumental...sure the lyrics may not be deep and the chorus can get annoying (it's catchy, though!) but the arrangement is actually very well done. I didn't know every song that Coldplay recorded HAD to be somehow deep and life changing... The songs aren't horrible, at all. Just because they are trying to evolve and try out new things doesn't mean they have "lost their touch" or that money is getting to their heads. Get over it. The whole point of having a long lasting career is to evolve and change with the times. I personally like to see the artists/groups I like try out new things. I think Chris even said it not too long ago -- I know it's been posted on this forum.

Not yet. I put a bid on eBay for the Promo UK CD of "Paradise" which includes the instrumental. If I win it, then I will be sure to upload it once I receive the CD.

So since we now that it's being released October 16, and according to people, it tends to leak during the production of the actual CD... I'm assuming it's going to leak some time at the end of September, then.

In my opinion... I think if these instrumentals are ever released like the previous albums, this will be the best one. Paradise, Charlie Brown, and Princess of China so far have amazing music arrangements I really can't wait to hear them.

Call me crazy, but I have been listening to PoC for hours now not only because I love the song but because I'm trying to figure out how Rihanna is going to be singing this song ...we get a little preview when Chris sings in falsetto but he quickly switches back on "on and on" and on "Once upon a time on the same side" he's singing in his regular voice. I've been trying to harmonize, and even though I've been able to get some of the once upon a time on the same side part the last sentence or two after that I can't get... it's driving me crazy... this song needs to come out already. just thought i'd share... :/

This thread is pure LOLz That picture looks clearly photoshopped - that picture of Rihanna is actually from a few months ago at a concert or performance of some sort. I wouldn't be surprised, though, if they decided to film the video at the Great Wall - if there is even going to be a video.

I can't bring myself to believing that "Princess of China" was written with Rihanna in mind..... I just can't...I know the Oracle said so but...really???? I always thought that once they started playing it or something (prior to recording, once they had finished writing it) that they realized it would make a good duet and THEN through of Rihanna. :shocked2::shocked2::shocked2:
