i saw a video clip this week where katy perry said she won't pay to play the superbowl on tv. i hope coldplay wouldn't pay to play. and i think they have the sense not to. coldplay would loose a lot of respect from people if they choose to. anyway, i think it is safe to say that this pay to play idea wouldn't go anywhere. how obnoxious of nfl to come up with this? anyway, i do agree if coldplay is to play the superbowl, that would mean lp7 is around the corner.

i don't remember chris saying that another lp was written and shelved to make GS. i remember him mentioning specific songs being shelved for later since they were "too upbeat" for GS, like the song madeon originally worked on. GS seems like it has been a long time coming. with songs being written over at least 2 years with ASFOS seemingly being written the last (last december according to the sky arts making of interview). and regarding releasing songs written 2 years ago, i doubt that it will be so. maybe some songs left off GS for thematic mismatches, but i for one would like to get newer songs for sure. regarding the music itself, we know that madeon worked on a song. and from what we've heard, it's going to be less angsty, more joyful. i think it will have a lot of electronic instrumentation. but hopefully with real drums and guitar work. also, can i just say that assuming that chris was miserable for the whole of his marriage is just wrong.. we don't know them, so let's not pass judgement..

it's just ridiculous. this is not a soap opera for people to salivate over is it? it's a family's life, including two young children. since i search the interwebs for coldplay news usually, all i'm seeing are these stupid 'articles' and it's getting on my nerves! edit: oh and regarding the previously posted article, if actually both people showed up at his house, shouldn't ther be pictures of them arriving/leaving??

for all her good intentions, gwyneth seems to be completely out of touch. she comes from a privileged background and seems like she never understood what an average person's world is. but otherwise, she seems like a good enough person i guess.

while i enjoy seeing new pictures very frequently now, i just wish all these rumors and stories from 'sources' would just go away. but that's not going to happen. what with the next hunger games movie coming up soon. i don't know if gwyneth has anything on the pipeline but coldplay will pretty much be shut up, hopefully (probably) working on new material. this is all just distracting and too much publicity for all the wrong reasons. by the time the next lp comes along, chances are people will be fed up of seeing coldplay (through chris), which is not good, and remember most promo will be done by chris too. but how did chris' life become such a free-for-all? it's nauseating and unbelievable! not every high profile star has this, but chris has become prime tabloid bait.

one creepy article, and way to stereotype women daily mail. nothing a woman can offer a man than her looks :rolleyes: and ladies, guess we have a chance of being the next Mrs. chris martin, as long as we get our hair dyed and try our similar hairstyle/dress combos.
