ain't that right?! so earlier this year, 2 female officers made history by becoming the first ever female army rangers in the US. they were celebrated when this info came out. but guess what? it didn't take long for one macho congressman, whose mighty feathers were ruffled to ask for proof that they weren't given special treatment.. there will never be a shortage of misogynists.

let's face it, coldplay has always had a fan base that spans multiple generations. if you read/watch a profile from the band even as early as a rush of blood, x&y days, this will pop up more often than not. there is a higher chance that younger fans (who are into mainstream music) may find their way into coldplay now with their more pop-oriented releases recently, but having a multi-generational fan base is something they've had all this time. when they were in their early-mid 20s they made music that spoke to middle schoolers to 50, 60, 70 year olds. this is one of the reasons why they are one of the biggest bands in the world.

none the less, tasteless. don't forget, there are quite a lot of people on here who love MX and for some, it is their favorite coldplay album.

fyi, fraser scott's mom seems to be of indian origin (born in india?), going by his instagram posts. might not be coldplay related at all.

most of us were hopeful that AHFOD would include a darker theme to some of the dreams. going by the lyrics we've seen, it is highly probable. these lyrics show more substance in probably one verse of a song than a lot of GS. makes me very happy! and let's be real, the lack of new material this week actually gave us more time to speculate and interpret the solid cues we got at iheartradio :) and we all know how much we enjoy doing that!
