  1. ^^^^Ehem :censored:. I don't know which part of this entertains me more-Chris's failed attempt to jump up and wrap himself around Jonny, or the fact that they came so close to tumbling onto the stage (or hell, into the crowd) :laugh3:. Nice to see that one picture more clearly, too :).
  2. :laugh3: That's a good one. I like Phoebeo's alternate response suggestion, too :D. Hell. Yes. Your world is a fun place . The photo of Chris screaming at that paparazzi guy is both amusing and sort of intimidating all at the same time.
  3. This video makes me smile :D. So many good moments in it.
  4. Aw :). That'd be my idea of a fun birthday celebration!
  5. Awesome, Row, thanks :). I'll happily watch it in both formats! I think I saw this one on TV a few years back when we had the Palladia channel for a short time. Will be great to revisit it, since, like I said, it's been a while :).
  6. Ha, yeah, I bet they've got the whole laundry/changing clothes thing down to a science now. I would hope so, I can't imagine how it'd be to walk around in the same sweaty clothes all the time. Enough to drive one nuts. Exactly. Phew, indeed. Plus, sometimes guys do that right before they start in on some hard work of some sort, or some very involved activity. And a guy at work is always a neat thing to watch :D. Excellent song choice. I'm in a good mood myself, but today was a bit hectic at work, so this is a good way to unwind and chill. I'll echo Row's sentiments here. You're all wonderful, beautiful girls, and it's been a pleasure getting to "know" you all, so to speak, on here. If you need to vent, gush, whatever-we're all here . I know that feeling, too. I've always, always felt "out of step" with people I know. Either my interests are too unusual and unknown, or I've lived in areas where my political views are...not the norm, to say the least, I'm a quiet person who likes to just stay in and do simple things-my idea of "fun" is often not many other 20 something people's idea of "fun". I'm often either surrounded by people who are a few years younger than me or much older than me (i.e., most of my co-workers, they're middle aged women), it's rare to find people within my actual age. And those that are within my age, many of them are in between relationships and/or have kids already, which I don't have either of. My friends are totally cool with me this way, but sometimes it'd be nice to find someone who would like and know about the sorts of things I do. Sigh. Ah, well. Like you said, this place is a great way of finding others who can relate. And they do indeed know how to cheer you up here :D. Exhibit A. I don't care how many times I see that video. I still can't get over those lyrics. I just...Chris...wow :laugh3:. LOL, pretty much, yeah . Well said! Oh, wow, really? *Feels all uncomfortable now* Poor guy. Okay. Need to cheer myself up again-off to watch the videos shared here! That'll certainly do it! Row, hope you had a great time at your party!
  7. This . I'm a big fan of music that paints such vivid images in my head, and you explained how this album does that so perfectly. Yep. The three underneath will change spots depending on what era I'm in a particular mood for that day. It's hard to put them in any specific order and keep them there.
  8. I'm so happy to have the show back. So happy :D. How am I supposed to choose between Troy and Abed? I love both of 'em! As for TV shows...um, "Judge Judy". Heh. (And oy, both people aren't making a lick of sense with their stories *Blinks in confusion*)
  9. I don't think there's anything wrong with loving Mylo Xyloto. adamknott's review of it in that article was pretty interesting. Personally for me, though, Viva La Vida is my pick. Honestly, it's perfect from start to finish, it incorporates some new musical elements for the band, it's grand and romantic and tells some very interesting stories within its songs. For the band it's quite a change up, and I love it. A Rush of Blood to the Head does come awfully close, though. That's the album whose singles, when they were out, REALLY made me start paying attention to the band. And that album produced my favorite Coldplay song to date, "The Scientist", and it also gave us "In My Place", which is another one I deeply adore, so for those songs alone it would be worthy of a high mark. Some days, I'd probably tie these two albums.
  10. Ah. Okay, deal :). *Zips lips* Possibly. Who knows. But still such a funny image. Oh, my god, really? How awesomely freaky! I suspect you'll start making up reasons to frequent that store more than you already do :laugh3: ;).
  11. Night, Kristal :). *Sigh* I LOVE the whole "rolled up sleeves" thing. I don't know why. Showcases the arms better or something, I dunno.
  12. Yeah, it sounds like they had quite a few struggles early on there, didn't they? But hey, live and learn, right? And yeah, if the band's having a crap time, then the crew will likely suffer, too. Touring's not always as glamorous as people like to think it is. I love the story in the book about the gig where some drunk guys were yelling out '80s hair band songs or whatnot and the band actually decided to play those songs. I would've given anything to witness THAT show .
  13. I want to go back and look again, too ! I also love how worn and wrinkly the spine of the booklet looks :laugh3:.
  14. :laugh3:  (I half expect those sentences to be followed with, "If you disagree, *mouthing* he will cut you" while making a slashing motion across the throat ) HAHAHA, I LOVE that first one! Heck, yes! And the second? Um. Yeah :sneaky:.
  15. Kristal. Well, as you'll see here, we're capable of liking both things equally :D! Welcome to the thread! It's so wonderful to find places like this, isn't it? I said this to Row-I love finding others who GET it. Your job share lady is a smart woman ! Finally, someone else outside of this thread realizes this! Sorry your work day was bleh . Yay for the weekend, though, and glad this thread is cheering you up! Is the search still going for the perfect desktop photo? Hehe, others beat me to your last sentence there :sneaky:. I love that picture in particular. But hell, they're all great. *Fantasizes* That'd be so nice... :laugh3: . Agreed. Poor guy must be exhausted some days. Woohoo! Yeah. Strange or not, always good to have him pop up. All right *Gets ready for paramedics to come help her*. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, those are gorgeous . :stunned: WOW. That's truly all I have to say. WOW. Awwwwwwwwww, Chris with a little girl . Good night, Row. I'll keep on the photo search if need be. Love these, too (LOL, what's the deal in the third one :laugh3:?). That last one in particular is...gah. That's a good angle .
  16. Awwwwwwwww . These two together give me warm fuzzies :D. Yeah, that tiny purple-y picture is interesting.
  17. Whee! I'm glad you got the book and are liking it so much :)! I said it in the Jonny thread, but I'll say it here, too: Welcome back. You've been missed around here.
  18. Coldplay and arson? Who knew the two would be entwined? *Starts singing, "We Didn't Start The Fire"* That's cute. HA! That's a good one!
  19. Tracie! I was wondering where you'd gone to! Welcome back . So do I :). Wow, he's got gorgeous eyes...
  20. Hell, yeah! Woo! Awesome pick, Row. I like the red shoes one, too.
  21. Thanks :). Hope you have a lovely day, too. I'll definitely help-I'm on the hunt! This job will require endless amounts of study and quite a bit of time, but I think I'm up for it. Really.
  22. Morning, Row! Woo for Friday! I have to work both days this weekend, but today, I am free to relax and chill! I particularly like pictures like the above, where he has his arms above his head, hands clasped together. Just...an all around good view...and stuff :p.
  23. Brilliant idea to make a thread for this-I was wondering how long it'd be before somebody did so. Let's see: Chris Martin is an investment in good appearance. (I like that one :D) Made like, taste like Jonny Buckland. Guy Berryman save your nerves. Be part of Will Champion. (...how...?) Attention please! Chris & Jonny wanted! :laugh3: And because I had to for the hell of it:
  24. Oh, yeah. I can't help but think back on funny conversations or captions or gifs or photoshops from here, either. Which isn't a problem. Unless I start thinking about those things while I'm at work, and as a result I'm trying really hard to keep from laughing in the middle of the store, lest the customers or my co-workers think me crazy (or try and ask what's so funny). (This is the predicament I found myself in today)
  25. Oblivious to the world, those two . Just off in their own little happy space.
