  1. I was sitting at the pool circle last night. I saw the roadie brought in at least 30 people from the back. They are mostly teenagers. Some of them wore Coldplay t-shirts. A few of them actually got to sit right next to the cameraman, which is right in front of Chris. They brought in people pretty early, some before the 1st support band start singing. If anyone is hoping for upgrade in future shows, get there early! I sat in the side of the pool with my six years old daughter on row 6. The security guard is very nice. He said my daughter can stand right in front of the stage if she wants to (because she is short, won't be able to see in row 6). When Coldplay came out, the teenage girl in the 1st row stood up from her seat to watch the show. The guard waved us over and told my daughter to stand on that girl's chair. I got to stand next to her. We basically got upgraded to 1 st row by the nice guard. :D
  2. How sweet! I was there last night. After they sang Us Against the World & Speed of Sound on the c stage. Will, Johnny, and Guy ran to the left side and got back on stage. Chris must have ran to the middle because he jumped back on stage from the x stage. I wondered if that's when he ran to the crowd to kiss Gwyneth? He also said: "To my beautiful wife" when singing Yellow. Chris is the sweetest guy on earth!
  3. ^Agree! He probably has minor tinnitus which most musicians have. But not anything like the article said.
  4. This family has so much talent!!! Now that Gwyneth is in LA, she will probably go to tomorrow show at Hollywood Bowl.
  5. There is a article on the Spin website about the Olympic thing. Here: http://m.spin.com/articles/coldplay-probably-going-be-olympics Coldplay Are Probably Going to Be at the Olympics May 3, 2012 | 10:40am Full Size Image Chris Martin and the gang aren't necessarily known for their sense of humor (unless you count unintentionally reviving the Dancing Thom Yorke meme on national television or inviting Frank Ocean on tour** instead of suing him like everybody else), but they certainly seem to be Coldplaying with us now. In an interview with ET Canada, Martin "shot down" rumors that Coldplay would be playing the opening ceremonies at this year's summer Olympics (via Spinner). "Us doing the hurdles? That's just not true," Martin said, in a way that might as well have been accompanied by a huge, vaudevillian wink. The opening ceremony concert is currently slated to feature performances by representatives from each UK country: Duran Duran (England), Snow Patrol (Northern Ireland), Stereophonics (Wales), and Paolo Nutini (Scotland). It should be noted that rumors of Coldplay being considered for the concert sprung up at the beginning of April, while the announcement of Duran Duran's headline spot came on Tuesday, a month later. The addition of Coldplay would double up on England-native acts, but considering the games will be in London, the country probably deserves a freebee. Plus, it's Coldplay! The one other fact we know for sure about the Olympics' musical accompaniment: the closing ceremony will include a massive "Best of British" show headlined by the reunited Blur and featuring New Order and the Specials. Watch the interview below and if you're particularly good at lie detection, let us know. Sounds like he just doesn't want to confirm it nor deny it. Maybe a taped performance for the opening ceremony or appear at the closing ceremony???
  6. Paradise and ETIAWF again! Oh well, I'm still going to watch it tonight.
  7. Wow! We got ticket at the pool circle but it's on the side row # 6. I wish we will get to move closer to the stage like you too!

  18. Here is the tweet I read yesterday: (@shakasdad) 4/29/12 9:58 PM Shot out to Chris Martin from @coldplay. Stopped by UCSF Children's Hospital yesterday and sang for the kids. It was Paradise for them.
  19. The tweet I read came from another guy and there was no picture. That's why I wasn't sure whether it's true. Thanks for posting the other tweet. So, it must be true. Chris is such a sweet guy. He has a very busy schedule and yet still took time to do things for others.
  20. Ariel, hope things get better for you soon!
  21.:heart::heart::heart::heart::heart::heart::heart: A guy tweeted about Chris singing for children at a San Francisco hospital last Saturday. (Not sure if it's true) But I just thought that's very sweet of him. He is like an angel. Beautiful and have such a good heart!
  22. I hope she will attend the next Friday show at Hollywood Bowl. Maybe I will get a chance to see her.
