^Nickleback gets too much hate...just like Coldplay and yeah music shouldn't be decided by the colour of your skin

I got made fun of in elementary school/High School for liking bands such as Linkin Park,Nickleback,The Fray,Coldplay etc

I'd rather be a Coldplayer, xylobryte seems only appropriate for MX era. I think the chances of an EP are slim. Coldplay are giving everyone who attends their concerts a xyloband , we are getting a film, we have the album plus singles plus remixes, we have 4 videos They are doing a world tour, There is confetti, balloons, more balloons, inflatable butterflies, lasers etc They are doing a lot, let's not be greedy

Chris did look good, you can't deny that. But I hope Coldplay doesn't go Maroon 5, I don't think Will would let that happen since he makes the decisions:laugh3:

^ I used to be a Rihanna fan, I still love her song Umbrella. The video could have been worse, image if Coldplay collaborated with Lady Gaga..that would have been terrible IMO Its only one on one album, by the next album some may forget about the whole Rihanna /Coldplay stuff

I think Coldplay has the right to experiment if they want to. Like The Oracle once mentioned Coldplay are not afraid to go out of their genre, it's people who put songs in categories; rock, pop, Edit:Found the question Q. Why does the remix suck? I don't get it. I think the remix is decent, better than the original but overall the acoustic version is way better

^The scientist is really good, but I go for Strawberry swing as being the best , all the stop motion is cool, I took a animation class and it was a pain to do stop motion so I appreciate that video soo much. The videos from MX era haven't been mind blowing for me but, I enjoyed them but the Charlie Brown video is my least favourite. I think the VLV era had amazing videos ; Strawberry Swing, Violet Hill,Lovers in Japan,VLV alternate video

I guess whether you think POC is Coldplay's worst song is a individual decision, as some people really like POC. I don't see the point of these "worst song ever threads", since everyone will have a different opinion. If the thread was called " Whats your opinion on the song" I would get it. Or maybe its just me that feels this way ?:thinking:

I also feel the reason some people really dislike POC is because Rihanna is in it. Its not my favourite song but i think its ok. I'm open to whatever Coldplay wants to do, they can't always please everyone ( and they never will please everyone). Some people love POC,some hate it. Rihanna's voice is good with Chris, ( not live though)

I started really listening to Coldplay after I heard the song Paradise, I like some of their songs before but was a casual fan. I recommend listening to all the albums starting with Parachutes also listen to the b-sides. Listen to all songs with an open mind because you don't know which ones you'll really love. Decide for yourself if you think a song is a masterpiece, not just because some one says it is.

The CB video kind of has a story line but it seems incomplete to me, the POC video also has a little story although incomplete too. I don't get why some people think POC video is not creative, effort was put into it; there are costumes / acting. I feel like most if the ideas came from Chris and not Rihanna or maybe the director (but definitely not Rihanna or there would be less clothing) Anyway it's always good to try out new stuff, Coldplay is not afraid to test out new stuff or at least experiment, the next album may be different altogether.
