Great question!! This thread will be fun to read!! We met senior year in college. He signed up to work on a committee for the business school that I chaired. Then we had two night classes together. We used to skip one at break then go to the local pizza place across the street. Once, we bet over a pitcher of beer. I won. Two days before graduation he asked me out on a "date" to pay me back that pitcher. That was our first date. We then sat two chairs apart at graduation, as our names were very close in the alphabet. I actually think it caused some of it. I remember reading Gwyneth's note in Goop (her emagazine & business) about the release of MX. It was so oddly written. "Thank. You. God. " As if it were a real pain in her life. I think it went on to describe that it took so long to make. All I ever heard her say in interviews was how marriage is hard and Chris is a typical musician: moody. No surprise there how it ended. As soon as I heard Magic I knew they were toast. I'm with you, Nie, about this guy. This was for the best in the end. It still hurts now though. But leave here l, I Ran Away, thinking of all the good Coldplay memories. We are your friends, and will be with you when you need us, wherever you are.
