Hey I'm from Germany and I can't find a GT20 anywhere=( not even a GT10.... I've played the new Yamaha models similiar to the gt series and I have to say they are really shitty to play, because the touch just doesn't feel like a real piano.... So my question is, has someone any experiances with other models? I wouldn't mind if it's a stage piano, I heared sometimes Chris uses a MP5, any experiances with this? Or does someone know the exact model chris is playing here? It's a Yamaha cp, but what exact model? Please help me=)

Hello Folks! I recently saw a post of Chris, the Elephant guy, the member of the year, the guy of the My Mylo Xylotour page in Facebook, unfortunatelly I don't know his user name of the forum so let's just say the biggest fan to him=) So the biggest fan came up with this: A nearly perfect drawn strato similiar e-guitar, it really looks amazing, first of all thumbs up for this! And I thought wow that’s the strato wich is closest to the REAL coldplay guitar, so why shouldn't I make my little own project with the acoustic? So I'm looking up for some help and tips of you out there, maybe the biggest fan or some of you who already painted a guitar could say wich experiences they made with painting a guitar! I hoped that the Coldplay 2012 Movie would help me with this, but they faced the painting process not that much... So I want to make this really perfect, so we need to start with Chris Guitar of the MyloXyloto era. As far as I could see he is playing a Martin d-15m. Correct me if I’m wrong! http://www.martinguitar.com/model/item/145-d-15m.html Am I right with this? Of course he has one wich is custom made, but I think this is the one wich looks closes to his. Really beautiful middleclass guitar, and I like the sound! So I took a look to a lot of pictures and videos and he always plays the same model, but they are all different painted.... Or have they just used some color? Of course when you use sandpaper the sound will change, but I don't think a little colour will change the sound, if it isn't to much the solid spruce will still breathe after some years.... I have seen a lot of guitars wich were painted in the " Coldplaystyle " but I wanted to do it with a D-15M... if I'm sucessfull with the guitar I'll paint a piano as well! (Hopefully I’ll find a Yamaha GT-20!!!) So please, if you have any experiences, just tell me how I should do this, because I don’t wanna mess up my little beauty:laugh3: Lost Boy
