  1. Aww Richard. That's such a great story. I'm all happy now. Thanks for telling us. Just goes to show love does turn up just when we need to believe in it, but just not always in the traditional ways or from the people we think it will be with. What shows up is the answer we need :)
  2. Awww Amanda. That really does seem unfair. :( I'm not with anyone today either, but I now know there are more important things. I know it it's difficult but take care of you, and remember you have friends here that care :) Hugs 4U. :)
  3. He definitely does know how you feel  Trouble is he does not drink vodka. Although today he probably feels like trying it out to drown his sorrows. Chin up musiclover and you keep the faith too!! This is only a little blue moon moment. Tommorrow is another day ;) ***Hugs***

  8. These were sent to my email. Thought I'd share them with you all. Have a lovely day. :) Definitions of love Love is when a girl puts on perfume and a boy puts on shaving cologne and they go out and smell each other. - Karl - age 5 Love is when someone hurts you. And you get so mad but you don't yell at them because you know it would hurt their feelings. - Samantha - age 6 Love is what makes you smile when you're tired. - Terri - age 4 Love is when my mommy makes coffee for my daddy and she takes a sip before giving it to him, to make sure the taste is OK. - Danny - age 7 During my piano recital, I was on a stage and scared. I looked at all the people watching me and saw my daddy waving and smiling. He was the only one doing that. I wasn't scared anymore. - Cindy - age 8 Love is when your puppy licks your face even after you left him alone all day. - Mary Ann - age 4 I know my older sister loves me because she gives me all her old clothes and has to go out and buy new ones. -Lauren - age 4

  21. Not a fan myself, but my brother loves them. He loves the girl that play the drums most. ;) I just think the Corrs get recognition that other irish bands/singers are more deserving of but will never receive.
  22. But sometimes people just change. I don't think it's about "real friends" or loyalty. Well, maybe it kind of is. Being a real friend sometimes means knowing when you're growing apart. There are many friendships people have out of custom, when neither person is receiving anything from the other yet continue the friendship out of reverence for history. In your teenage years many decisions are made to discard or reevaluate your friends from previous years. This reevaluation is natural, and neither party to it is necessarily bad. I think it's just a part of growing up. This kind of phenomenon also happens later in life, when your peer group starts to develop careers and family and their need for social interaction decreases. It's all natural. OK .... Richard's stopping now. Well said Richard. I agree with you, our lives develop and change at different times, according to circumstance and life choices. Friends come and go, that's the way life is. I think the trick is to value those around us, appreciate the friendships, but understand and sometimes make the tough decision when it is time to move on. We learn a lesson from everyone we meet, good or bad, at the time we may not know. We are learning all the time.
  23. Tired :idea2: Think some sleep is needed
  24. Sometimes things happen to make you realise who your real friends are. I think also at different times of our lives our friendships change. The ones that stick with you through thick and thin, they are your real friends. I also think the older you get the more difficult it is to make new friends. Thats why that line in the Baz Luhrman song is true. 'The older you get, the more you need the friends you had when you were young' Okay old person finished thinking out loud :D ;) As you were people  ;)
