the problem i have is that when i put the music in to the video afterwards the added MP3 plays slower then what it does when i record... I don't what this is due too but i noticed that the difference in speed was even greater if i played the music from my phone to the headphones

i tried that but it took ages to get it to sync propperly, and when it does sync at the begining of the video it's for some reason a few seconds of at the end of it.... I used Windows Movie Maker when i did it as it's the only free software i could find for doing it, but if you know anything better i'd be more than happy to try it out :)
