I notised lately that on Dutch television, they very often use coldplay songs, or instrumentals as background music. And not just the hit songs. I just saw a program about adopting children, and first i heard 'postcards from far away' and than the program ended with 'now my feet won't touch the ground' :)

Hi Joueur, I went to the RAH for a christmas concert and sat in the choir section very close to where your seats are. But than a bit more towards the organ. I had a very good view. The choir is also very steep so the seats in front of you are much lower, so nobody will be blocking your view. Jumping and dancing might be a bit scary though. I made pictures from up there, i try to post them tomorrow (i'm on my phone now)

Ik hoorde net op de radio dat iemand anders heeft gewonnen :'( Ben nu mijn verdriet aan het wegdrinken met de wijn die eigenlijk bedoeld was om de overwinning te vieren, haha. Maar goed. Ik heb ze pas nog in Keulen gezien dus ik heb mijn part ook al gehad :)

Dank jullie wel! Ja ik was het gister inderdaad rond 16:30. Gelukkig. Nu hoef in niet meer elke avond gespannen voor de radio te zitten. Ik heb niet veel gezegd volgens mij toen ik in de uitzending was. Best suf. Maar er werd verder ook niets gevraagd. Maar ik heb drie tips: 1 Zorg dat je het telefoonnummer al hebt voorgeprogrammeerd in je telefoon. Zodat je alleen nog op 1 knop hoeft te drukken als je Coldplay hoort. 2. luister via de ether en niet via internet radio, want dan ben je denk ik zowiezo te te laat. (of check iig welke voor of achter loopt) 3 Wacht niet totdat ze het menu gaan opnoemen maar toets gelijk 1 in. Ik weet niet of het iets uitmaakt, maar dat heb ik iig gedaan. Veel succes! Als ik niet win hoop ik dat een van jullie wint :)

Balen. Toen ik net door was wachtte ik niet tot het menu voorgelezen werd, maar toetste gelijk 1 in.

Pffff. Ik belde net naar Q-music toen magic langs kwam en toen was ik door! Iemand zei dat moest ik aan de lijn blijven hangen. En toen het nummer voorbij was dacht ik dat ik de man van de radio aan de lijn had, en hij vroeg met wie spreek ik. Dus ik zeg mijn naam, maar toen was er blijkbaar iemand anders bij hem aan de lijn. Heel vaag. Ik hoorde het namelijk wel door mijn telefoon.. Helaas. Maar dit geeft wel hoop :)

Het is inderdaad niet handig dat ze het pas na de kaartverkoop bekend maken :( Maar mocht je geen kaartjes kunnen krijgen, of geen geld hebben, dan is het toch wel leuk om nog een extra kans te maken. Wil je kans maken kan je trouwens het best via een gewone radio luisteren en niet via internet radio. Ik kwam er net achter dat internet radio en ook de radio via mijn tv abonnement iets van 15 seconden achter lopen op de radio via mijn ipod...

Some people use very rude and agressive language towards others on the internet. I don't think they would say that to a person in real life. It must be hard if you are the subject of those rude comments on daily basis. I think people take her words out of context. She gave a 15 minute talk, makes one comparison with war. And than someone quotes only that sentance. And makes a huge deal of it. That also happend with that comment on mothers working from 9 to 5. She actually said that she finds it hard to combine working on a filmset with raising her children. Because on a filmset you have very irragular and long days, so it's hard to plan things. And that's why she does only 1 film a year and has a 9 to 5 job herself (at goop) for the rest of the year. I's easier to plan things around jour job if you have a regular time schedule. (ps. this is the entertainment section of the forum, so the subjects don't need to be band related to they? However, since almost the whole Ghost stories album is about her, i think she is at least a little bit related to the band..)

I used iTunes to import the music from Ghost stories CD into my computer. That was no problem. (you can download iTunes for free, also on a windows pc) Just select the CD in iTunes and use the option imort CD. Than you can choose what kind of files you want (ACC, MP3 or WAV) iTunes puts all the ripped music into a file on your computer, so if you don't use iTunes on your phone, you can just copy the audio from that file into your phone or mp3 player. Succes

Wow, it seems like a wonderfull experience to have seen the concertmovie in a cinema! Was the interview also shown during the viewing in the cinema?

This is also how i remember it from the Cologne show! I hope they will release a single with both the album version and a version like this. I just would have liked it more if Chris had played the piano and/or guitar himself. But Chris probably wants to dance around. And a piano playing by itself is quite cool. It's like a ghost is playing :)

Roald Dahl's book of Ghost Stories seems to me a good candidate for the 'golden ticket' It wasn't in the one in the library in my town. Maybe one of you is more lucky..

I was thinking about this option too. It makes sense, since they release the DVD when the album comes out. The other DVD's came out at the end of a tour. If the rumor about lp7 is true, it makes not much sense to do a big tour now, i think.. But lets see what happens ;)

Yes, Last night was amazing! I never stood so close to the band (2nd row). The long wait in line was totally worth it. And it was nice to meet some fellow coldplay fans. My favourite new song is Anothers arms, i like the the guitar part in it. And i loved that they played a sky full of stars. I couln't remember the melody anymore, right after the gig. But this morning it suddenly popped into my head, although i'm not sure it really sounds like that. So now i'm actually even more curious how the real version sounds like.

I'm glad more coldplayers were able to buy tickets yesterday. Its going to be a great day today! The weather is good, so waiting in line will be no torture :) See you all there!
