Austin City Limits Festival 2005
Festival appearance? No. Taping at the KLRU studio for the TV show? Yes.

New Coldplay songs TODAY
No new songs and the EXACT same setlist from last year other than Sparks? Pathetic. They're losing me.

Changes for Toronto DVD
Frankly, that's pathetic.

Changes for Toronto DVD
Well there are two shows so one can be the standard (stale) setlist and another could incorporate more changes in order to have a lot of things to choose from for the DVD. Not going to happen, I mean chances are pretty good it will be the same set on both nights.

Dallas American Airline Center Concert!
Alright well I've got lowers, but I'm hoping to find some floor tickets before the show still. If any of yall going have an extra pair on the floor you would let go for face value, please let me know.

Pick a tour.....
Don't we all. But the fact is that with selling out huge arenas, the majority of attendees will be casual fans. They rare songs, b-sides or live only standards would go completely over their heads. This is why we could get more rarities on the Rush tour, since a higher concentration of ticket holders were fans who would appreciate those songs. As long as they keep playing/selling out huge shows and having such a complex light show, setlist variety is going to suffer.

Things you'd like to happen to the setlist.
What's the point of a second encore if it all adds up to the same amount songs they've been playing normally with one encore. Your main set is really, really short.
-
How long will Fiona play?
Openers usually will get 45 minutes, give or take. You really ought to go see her too though, she's excellent.

Things I'd like to happen to the setlist? How about some variety

Is HTDAAB better than X&Y?
Original Of The Species and Fast Cars are enough to elevate (no pun intended) HTDAAB over X&Y.
-
Songs you miss from the Rush Of Blood Tour
Warning Sign and Daylight, for sure. Also, Ladder To The Sun. I'm hoping that since each X&Y single thus far has included a studio version of a Rush tour song (Proof, Gravity, sort of TWTUD) that Ladder To The Sun is included on the fourth single. It was such a strong song and is probably in my top five. It would be amazing to have a proper release of it.

Songs you'd like to hear in the acoustic set
Sleeping Sun really would be great to hear live. I Bloom Blaum might not be too bad either. I also think Spies could possibly sound pretty good acoustic. Instead of it being the first song of the encore, they could put Swallowed In The Sea in the acoustic set like they style they had at the Japan acoustic session. I think that would fit really well and also free up a new song for the first song of the encore, preferably something with a little more energy.

Dallas American Airline Center Concert!
They were my first back at NextStage in January 2003. I was in the very back row, very left side and it was still great. You're going to have the time of your life regardless of how far back on the floor you are. Due to some scheduling conflicts and the fact that I bought tickets for Van Morrison, Jenny Lewis, and Death Cab, I can only manage to see Coldplay once this leg of the tour. It'll be in Dallas. I'm in section 108, row O, which is a bit disappointing after the last Dallas show, where Miss imp13 and I were the first two people to be in line for the pit. Come say hi to the guy with long hair if you're around that section.

Best Live CD concert?
Copenhagen is probably up there.

In The Sun (No, this is not a request for the song)
It's a cover. The song is by a guy named Joseph Arthur and is off of his album Come to Where I'm From. Joseph Arthur is fantastic and isn't as well-known as he deservs. Two of his albums, Redemption's Son and Our Shadows Will Remain, are personal favorites.

Most underrated Coldplay song, in your opinion
I Bloom Blaum isn't talked about enough. Great guitar part.

"Fix You" on Piano by Ryan Leave opinions
It's two notes. Exactly. It's three, come to think of it. That helps the matter.

"Fix You" on Piano by Ryan Leave opinions
Precisely. I could deal with one or two but after awhile it just gets ridiculous.

"Fix You" on Piano by Ryan Leave opinions
Your pointless, attention-seeking threads coupled with the sausage threads of the world make it extremely difficult to find worthwhile ones. Take your 1.3 centimeters and multiply it by the amount of worthless threads. That's how hard it is to find threads with some sort of substance, and it's a big reason why I don't post very often. Yes, I watched it. Watched the 'What If' one and the Speed Of Sound singing ones too. It's the same phenomenon as a train wreck, you can't look away. Plus the unintentional comedy is priceless. If you want to learn Coldplay songs, that's fine. I play guitar and I have learned several myself. But I don't seek attention by making videos and asking everyone for their impressions on it. It says nothing about your ability as a musician. Compose original pieces of music and then ask for opinions, then these things won't be worthless.

It's two notes. And Ryan, we get it. You can play some Coldplay songs. We don't need a new video of you doing it every day.

White Shadows / U2 comparison
Twisted Logic moreso. That's the first thing that struck me when I first heard Twisted Logic.

Old setlist request.
http://www.easytoplease.net has a pretty good setlist database.
