anyone here like the pixies???? I love them!!!! and today I found out that they are doing their first world tour in ELEVEN years and they're starting in Canada!!!!! :D I just hope I can get tickets cuz tickets are expected to be sold out in less then 5 minutes. :confused: Love them though!!!!

arggg stupid cookies finally found a good recipe for cookies with one egg and no brown sugar. my dad's eating them all, i'm not in the mood for cookies anymore. had my fun making them though. :confused:

ok. i never want to cook or bake anything but today all i want to do is make some damn good chocolate chip cookies. the only problem is i only have 1 egg and no brown sugar and all the stupid recipes i've found online need brown sugar or some crap I don't have. I need help. PLEASE!!!!! i've made cookies once, but i don't remember how. how can i make cookies out of this: white sugar 1 egg butter milk vanilla chocolate chips flour water lol and yeah, that's about it. anyone got any tips???

I've been hearing "into your hideout" alot lately and I'm really starting to like it. I've found a few others songs and they're pretty good. And they definitely remind me more of radiohead then coldplay. good stuff though!! :D I'm actually really surprised they're Canadian, like talkshowhost said, they really do have that "UK sound"

My new discorvery. although they've been around for a few years. I really like these guys. I think I like it better when the guy (I think his name is Chris) is singing rather then the girl (who also sings really cool). Their music is just really cool and calming. I love their album Bloodsport. Anyone else like these guys???

Radiohead (always liked them but this year my love grew alot for them) MUSE (so glad I found out about this band, they're amazing) The Streets (can't wait for his song with coldplay) The Cure and The Smiths (two old bands who I really started to love this year) and then offcourse my love has grown even more for other bands I've been listening to in the past *coughcoughCOLDPLAYcough*, but I won't bother naming those cuz there's far to much.

BLUR think tank RADIOHEAD hail to the theif MUSE absolution and if live albums count then Coldplays and Robbie Williams live albums are both amazing!!! o yeah. and almost forgot THE STROKES room on fire. there were to many great albums that i can't just choose one.

HEY NICENESS!!! I love Myslovitz. They actually remind me of a polish coldplay. They're fantastic. I went to Poland during the summer and picked up a couple of their cd's, wish I had gotten more though. THEY ROCK!!!!!!!! finally somone else on the board who knows about them. :D

I've only been to two but they're my two FAV. bands and so they were both absolutely amazing. U2 and Coldplay (The Music supporting were awesome as well)!!!!!!!!! I want to see Robbie Williams soooooo bad cuz I've heard that his shows are brilliant. Plus I'd love to see MUSE, Radiohead, Blur, and The Cure. but these are all people that seem to be skipping stupid boring edmonton so my chances of seeing all of them are small, unless I go somewhere else... which hopefully, i will.

I actually agree with you, like if jonny was going to start singing now then it would sound really different, but if another one of them was singing from the start we wouldn't really know how great chris' voice is and it would sound like coldplay cuz we wouldn't know any better. that's what I was trying to say. I mean if they were to switch now I'd definitely say no way, chris should be the singer.

i love jonny's voice in 'don't panic'. it's so sweet and calming. i think that if he were to be the singer of coldplay i'd still probably like them just as much. same with Will. He's also got a great voice.
