  1. Yeah I was going to mention that I think that how they performed that night is what Coldplay are about... I expect banter and muckups, it's all part of the fun. I guess if this was the reason they didn't want it on DVD is because it's like a record of themselves that everyone will look back on. If it was just televised, it's not that much of a big deal kind of thing. Not as official. As for why they didn't just scrap it all together... well maybe they didn't want to completely waste all the money that was put into recording the show? I don't know. I'm just trying to come up with a logical reason behind the stupid no-DVD business I think!
  2. I just watched it and I have to say that it's awesome BUT I can now see why they decided not to release it on DVD afterwards. I dunno how to say this without people thinking I'm dissing them because I'M NOT, I thought it was a great gig, and I would love to own it on DVD just like you guys, but from a... professional/corporate, I don't know what you'd call it stance, maybe it's not the best gig to put out there, to say 'hey this is why Coldplay are the best at what they do'. There were quite a few things like stopping songs for banter, breaking strings, forgetting lyrics etc. that people outside of the Coldplay fanbase might think :/ if they saw it. And how Chris personalised the show alot by mentioning Richard Ashcroft, and making references to the city etc. Don't get me wrong, I'm not bothered by these things at all, I LOVE them. I think it makes for a more memorable show, and it's awesome when you're actually in the audience experiencing it. But for a DVD release, that more people will see instead of the audience that Chris was talking too, the band (actually the record company) probably decided a more neutral, smooth running show would of been better to release. I still want a DVD though :(
  3. I think so, but they'll all come back when the new album is out.
  4. Coldplay Youth Group Yeah Yeah Yeahs Wolfmother The Grates Snow Patrol The Zutons Pete Murray The Vines Scissor Sisters Death Cab For Cutie Sonic Youth Something For Kate You Am I Robbie Williams (in a week) I think thats it.
  5. I thought they did a horrible job lol.
  6. Gorgeous! Perfect hair. Thanks for the pics!
  7. Yes his hair is gone! I love it when he only has a little bit of hair.
  8. Aaah I LOVE Damien, can't wait for the new album... the songs I've heard so far are friggin awesome!

  11. Radiohead Yeah Yeah Yeahs Damien Rice Muse Jeff Buckley
  12. That tampon thing is sooo not true lol. But once someone chucked a tampon on stage (it was unused) and she put it in her mouth... kinda gross yeah. Karen O does things like spits beer up in the air so cool herself down, she sometimes does it to the audience too lol. I wasn't much of a fan until June when I was in the front row for the YYY's at Splendour In The Grass, now I LOVE them! She did lots of rubbing and stuff with her towel and towards the end of the show tossed it into the crowd, and my friends grabbed it, and had a little fight with these other people that grabbed it too, that went on for about 3 songs... we got it in the end though and we split it into 5 pieces, one for each of us and now I have 1/5 of Karen O's sweaty Splendour Towel. Woo go me hahaha. I love the YYY's :D
  13. It's: I think I wanna change my air, My atmosphere, I wanna choke
  14. I only know one of the guitars he used this tour was a Gibson Hummingbird. I so want one of those :(
  15. This isn't funny either, but just then my dad misread my MTF shirt and was like 'trademarks fair? what's that all about?' I just walked off LOL
  16. I used my favourite Chris pic to make a rasterbated image for my wall... I did a draft first, using crap paper and not much ink, but I'll do it again with better paper and ink etc. and I'll measure the spacing properly too lol. But I still think it looks awesome, especially in real life cause it's actually made up of lots of dots, you have to stand back to know what it is.
  17. You can make the image smaller on the site so it takes less pages if you want.
  18. Yeah dirty jokes ahoy!
  19. Gosh Gwen looks gorgeous in that pic!
  20. I found this while surfing the net: http://homokaasu.org/rasterbator/ You can use any pic and print it out so it's up to 20ft or something like that! Of course, you can do it smaller if you wish. I can only imagine a 20ft Chris Martin staring at me from my bed.... *drools* I just thought some of you might wanna try this. I do, but I'm having trouble deciding which pic. I want an energetic live pic of Chris, I've got heaps but I can't choose. Care to help me? If you do use it, show us what pic you've chosen! *The pics have to be, or look good in, black and white, cause it doesn't work in colour btw.
  21. I love these guys, their songs are so beautiful! Mango Tree is my favourite.

  24. I think it will be that same performance that they showed on 'The Brits are Coming'. From Crystal Palace, it's already been edited etc.
