I'm excited for Muse new album as well. With GS, you have to realize that Chris Martin has said in the past that he wanted to come out with an "acoustic album that could be played at small venues". It was sort of like a side project for him and he has now gotten that out so I'm sure we will get back to the normal sounds that could be played at festivals around the world. MX was a bit different yes but I truly think we're going to get a great quality album like VLV Or AROBTTH. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm actually okay with Coldplay coming out with a "fun" album. I have been with Coldplay since the very beginning and it's definitely been a roller coaster of different sounding eras and it's not 2002 anymore so whatever they come out with, I'll support! You're not crazy, I believe the same thing. Everything seems to be falling into place for them to release an album in the Spring/Summer followed by a tour. Good point. I guess most people here are not too fond of the new album sounding like ASFOS. My guess of what LP7 was going to sound like was a mix of MX and GS... I actually don't mind that.. ASFOS may not be one of their best songs but it's fun and I enjoy it a lot. I'm sure when LP 7 rolls out everyone here will enjoy it regardless :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm pretty sure this next album will be even more energetic than MX :O. The xylobands are being upgraded to change color so I assume some of the new music will be a little more dancey and "edmish" (I know many ppl here don't want to hear that). They didn't play at any large stadiums because the album was pretty low key and personal to CM. Festival dates are already rumored to be set for next year which means we are about to embark in some stadium rocking sounds.. I can't wait! I do miss the slower, older coldplay sounding songs but I also enjoy dancing to the upbeat tunes. Coldplay will play the older stuff at shows anyway! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I totally agree with everything you said! This album will be the most fun, upbeat and dancy album yet! I expect a good amount of ASFOS sounding songs with some slower tunes mixed in. I honestly think that were about to hear an announcement for the next album very soon... Things are changing.. New dates being announced for December...and didn't Chris say The new album will be sort of a celebration or the end of a story or chapter? (New year).
