IT'S PEOPLE LIKE ALL OF YOU THAT MAKE ME WANT TO KILL MYSELF!
If I offered you digital hugs and a digital puppy, would that help?

Your Coldplaying History
I kind of have to agree with you on the forum changing, and not always for the best. From what I've seen in the past couple of months there's a lot more animosity and illiteracy. I guess that's the internet for you these days. Haters gonna hate. I always liked the idea of becoming a moderator here, and I still do, because I really believe this board can be such a wonderful place with, you know, the proper management. Well, if this happens to get read by Ian or someone else: you know where to find me ;) God, these kinds of posts make me feel so old :P

IT'S PEOPLE LIKE ALL OF YOU THAT MAKE ME WANT TO KILL MYSELF!
Not only is this not the way to resolve a conflict, the title of your thread is very offensive. If you want to solve a fight with someone, that's your prerogative, go to a moderator. If you want to leave the forum, just do so. It's just a message board, not real life. To everyone else: being on the internet is not an excuse to act like a bunch of 7 year olds who should be on Ritalin - at least not all the time. Most of us are here to have a good time, so it can't hurt to try and be nice to people every once in a while. /grandmatalk.

Suicide
My condolances, Nick. A close friend of mine attempted it way back. Thankfully it didn't work and he got help. If you want any advice, PM me. I don't think this is something that's easily discussed out in the open like this.

This game is more fun with booze. Anyway: yes, in the zoo. Have you ever sang along to a song on your mp3-player in public?

Type the lyrics of song you are listening to right now
^what song is that? :D The party that became so powerful by sinking foreign boats Is dreaming up new promises 'cause promises win votes And being resolute in conference with the ad man's expertise The majority by their silence shall pay for days like these The right to build communities is back behind closed doors 'Tween government and people stands the right arm of the law And shame upon the patriot when the mark of the Bulldog Breed Is a family without a home and a pensioner in need Those whose lives are ruled by dogma are waiting for a sign The Better Dead Than Red Brigade are listening on the line And the liberal, with a small L cries in front of the TV And another demonstration passes on to history Peace, bread, work, and freedom is the best we can achieve And wearing badges is not enough in days like these

Your Coldplaying History
True story, Ian. I joined in June 2004 (SUCH a long time ago). I'd been aware of the existence of Coldplay since '99. I was ten and I'd heard Yellow on the radio and recorded it with my walkman, then played the tape endlessly. Our family only got internet in 2001, and it took me until 2003 to re-discover Coldplay more seriously together with my two then-best friends. One of them discovered Coldplaying at the beginning of 2004 and convinced me to sign-up. The three of us finally got to see Coldplay live in 2005. It's been an on-again-off-again relationship with both Coldplay and the board; I've always stayed true to them in my love of their music, but there have always been periods where I'd just not listen to them because there was other exciting music. Then I went to college, got a life, got new friends and a fuller and fuller schedule. But every once in a while I went back to send in a mixtape, catch up with some oldies and generally see what was going on. So! If you guys keep it fun and interesting for me, maybe this can be my Coldplaying-rebirth? ;) /grandmatalk

Braddock is fucked and wants to spout bullshit/say something meaningful
Try a Jägerbomb. It's a glass of Red Bull with a shot glass of Jägermeister in it. Coupla those will floor ya all right. It's like the speedball of the alcohol variety. Don't do speedballs though, you'll drop dead.
