Explanation: that's me on the left. The guy on the right is my 'kid' from my student association. Every first year gets to pick an older member to be their 'mom' or 'dad', and he chose me :) This construction means you get a family tree structure instead of year clubs, and that everyone gets to know each other, not just people from their own year.

None, we don't do Christmas presents in my family. And if we did I wouldn't get ANYTHING like what you're all listing, so jealous.

I only make them if I think I can stick to them. Some successful ones from the past couple of years have been not drinking for a year (check) and becoming a vegetarian (check, lasted 7 years). For this year it's losing some weight, so hopefully I'll stick to that one too :)
