Darlene... this is, like I suppose... the exact picture in all countries of this continent. It is easy to keep the noneducated and poor masses relatively content with populist politics (and those masses make a big percent of our population). People might often ignore the corruption and other scandals if there's a really good politic advertising and dull promises. It really pisses me off, because in my country also won the officialist party (the party of the last president, so there isn't basically any goverment change), involved in a lot of scandals and people just didn't give a shit about it. :veryangry: /my two cents to the thread.
