I feel like the longer they leave it, the hype of the whole tour and everything will die down and it won't sell as well as it could have. Do you guys think they will include Amazing Day? They did play it at the São Paulo shows but they only played for like 50% (if that!) for the whole tour. Maybe might be a bonus track like Scientist and DLIBYH on Live 2012?

I think you're right with a Feb-April release. I was just hoping they would at least say something like "We have something coming out for you in the new year" or the album cover or a trailer. I just want to hear an official announcement.

I'm really hoping they do like what they did with Live 2003 and have a tour diary documentary. I loved being able to watch all the behind the scenes of the shows and seeing them travel around and be interviewed and then be able to watch the concert film with full continuity. Something that did kind of annoy me about Live 2012 was cutting it up for the interviews. Don't get me wrong, I love the interviews, I love how each member got a bit and it was all very fitting but it really just took away from the show for me. I just wanted to enjoy the concert. That's where the interviews would fit nicely in a separate tour diary section. And they have done so much in the past 2 years for this album so they would have so much to talk about

I do understand what you mean with Live 2012, but I think that the added effects suited the show, to add to the graffiti/messy vibe. But for AHFOD Tour, a 4K HDR release would definitely suit the show. They will probably add like the circle of life over the top at some points I imagine, like the one on the screen of the show. I personally loved Live 2014 with how beautifully shot that was in HD. And i loved the cinematic kind of look that it had compared to Live 2003/2012.

So do you guys think they will include Birds or GPASUYF on the live release? Since they alternated between the two quite frequently throughout the tour. Or just skip it entirely?

Yeah I'm getting very disappointed cause I would really like an official release of this song, live or studio. I'm starting to think that maybe it will just be on the live CD or DVD like Moses or something. That way they could still "put the proceeds from that song" towards the charities. But as mentioned, Chris' vocals were a bit off so either they will performing it again and chop them all up or just re-record over it. Thats if they release it live anyway

I honestly loved this song! Only listened to it once so my opinion might change but I thought it was so uplifting and it was great to see how much energy and effort they really put into it. Like its not just a simple improv song like they have done in the past, which are still very sweet but this was legit. It had a proper backing track, Chris knew all of his words (which he often forgets or needs his lyrics for new songs), and the addition of the whole set up of the xylobands too. Awesome effort, I can't wait to buy it! :D

I would very much say that SJLT will be on there, as you said they will have "the hits" and sadly, as much as we all hate to admit it SJLT is one of their hits. I know The Scientist is one of their hits but never goes on there, but some things will always remain a mystery :joy: But in regards to KEP, I would like to think AICTAIY will be on there I'd say

On the album cover, in the past, the DVD and cd art has been the same, just the cd art is in a square. But to me, the Spotify live release or just a kaleidoscope might look a bit odd as a DVD cover, unless they add some things around it to fill in the gaps (I guess like KEP with the lyrics). But they most likely wouldn't do just a picture or anything, that isn't very Coldplay at all haha

Thanks heaps!! Do you reckon the deluxe remote is worth it? As a student, money is a bit of an issue but I really want to get at least the smaller remote. Just don't know if spending an extra £30 is going to be really worth it or if I could still get the same enjoyment from the smaller remote.

I know exactly what you mean! Hahaha but I have a feeling it might not be as the tour did heavily run through 2016 as well. I know (most likely) none of the concerts from 2016 were recorded for anything but it might just be A Head Full Of Dreams Tour Live or something like that. They might even come up with an actual name for it! But yes, you're right. More than likely Live 2017 :P
