Deluxe Edition. Why Coldplay? Why? I don't mind 9 tracks. Yes, it isn't a lot, but if they are a smashing 9 songs, then I am all cool with it. I would much prefer an EP than a Deluxe Edition. And if they are only exclusive to Tidal, I will flip because that would be so annoying. I don't really want a Deluxe Edition at all. Either add it to the album or release an EP or just leave them out all together. With GS, yes, I loved All Your Friends and Ghost Story and O (Reprise), but as B-Sides. NOT extra songs on the album. Ghost Stories in particular, because it is quite a emotionally driven album, it tells a story sort of (if that makes sense) and then they go "oh here you go, something you can add on to it". I'm not too sure how to explain but, It just doesn't feel right. It feels like they weren't happy with it or something. Like when I think of a Coldplay album, I think of the album, start to finish as a solid piece of work. You can't change that. But a Deluxe Edition isn't that. It's confusing and I don't know how to explain it but I hope somebody gets me hahaha :P And I will say, that is just my opinion, I understand if you think otherwise :P

I think you're right, with the hiatus and it being one to remember. Even if it is all poppy, I feel like it is still going to be big in some way

Well that was something I also wanted to say was even though Tan and Stargate are known for being "poppy" producers, doesn't mean they have to do pop, they could very pleasantly surprise us. They might just have good suggestions and background/ambient noises in store for the songs the boys have. Who knows really :)

I honestly don't mind of they have brought in Phil Tan and Stargate to work on the album, ONLY IF, Tan and Stargate aren't whispering into Coldplay's ears in the studio, brainwashing them into making a full length pop album. I don't mind if they are working hard on making that new radio pop single for them. I don't mind if there is the ASFOS song on there, but as long as I'm not listening to 40 minutes of EDM and Will on a electronic drum kit playing the most simplest beats, we can't even hear Jonny's guitar, Guy is sitting there playing one note the whole time and Chris singing one line over and over (and it probably has something to do with birds and flying). If it is like that for one song on the album, just to draw in the modern-radio-pop-listening-audience, then I'm okay with that. Just please for the love of God, not the whole album.

This wouldn't surprise me at all either, but I would prefer it if they released that song as a single just before playing it live and that they also don't okay a ton of new songs

I think Viva la Vida is a great song that everybody knows and loves and can sing along too, Coldplay fan or not. And it is great in stadiums of course, it really gets a crowd going and I say good on Coldplay for achieving that, but Bohemian Rapsody etc. are a whole new level. Like the greatest songs of all time. I wouldn't place it up there. But at the same time, you don't heat Bohemian Rapsody being sung at stadiums by crowds of people at sport events do you now? So I guess Viva wins in its own right :)

Of course, I'm not overly keen on the "poppy" vibe that we are getting from LP7, BUT what I personally would be happy with along those lines would be something like Hurts Like Heaven, Don't Let It Break Your Heart, Lovers In Japan, Chinese Sleep Chant, Life In Technicolor, Miracles, (a touch, maybe less EDM of) A Sky Full of Stars, Speed of Sound I think having an album with a theme of all those songs would be cool and possibly what we are expecting, something big, positive, dance too

I actually want to be surprised. I really, really want them to just drop an album unexpectedly, no singles, no hint, just BAM! Album and it to be big and grand and just amazing! That's what personally, I would love

Yeah like I think it is great they are doing this, it is really exciting and as usual they are putting themselves out there for a charity organisation which is one of the reasons I love these boys so much. Only thing I meant was that I just thought it would be interesting to see if it were pushing anytime back at all for the album. I'm not worried at all about it, I'm happy to wait until 2017 for it. I was thinking the same. Even thoug I am totally happy that they are doing this, it's so great! But it would be interesting to see if AHFOD is put back a bit because of this

I'm guessing first single after July, any time then would be understandable. The amount of time and effort gone into the timeline, they are going to want people to see it and acknowldge it. I'm not surprised if they are currently re doing the main web site for AHFOD, and I would also think that once the main website is back, they will still allow us to access to the timeline through the main page.

It looks like the actual one. Do remember that it is from 2003 so it's not as polished and over produced and clear as Live 2012 is. It does probably have a lower resolution, but nothing that should be too bad though. My DVD is more than fine to watch and the audio is good too. Unless you are used to Blu-Ray all the time :P But yeah, not to sure there. See what Batman thinks. Batman is always right. :batman:

Could I suggest just one thing though? Nothing too big but just a thought, Could the icon maybe be that globe with all the album covers on it that is used heaps on here? I love that picture and just thought it would look cool :) But other than that, love it! :D
