I've only listened to Talk, Square One, and 5 seconds of Speed of Sound. I figured that I didn't want to spoil the surprise on june 6th by listening to those shitty recrdings. Square one sounded really cool though, definately a song made to replace politik.

Yeah, I can play yellow. On the electric and the acoustic. I don't know some of the chords played on the electric though, but I'm assuming they're the same as the chords played on the acoustic. Kapone, what sorts of instruments do you play?

Yup! They're really oly good for playing along with a whole band though. Ebows alone sound retarded. Same thing with slides.

Bleh, Them Slinkies suck. I agree with Skinned Alive. I myself use D'Addario XL .11's and .13's (for blues and jazz I use the .13's). I also use GHS Boomers .9's.

Ya, I can also enhance teh sound and whatnot. I can even do the mixing, though I have poor mixing skills as of yet, I can still do a decent job. And don't make fun of me bcecause I'm being all serious about this.

Hell, I'm all for doing a rendition of Politik. I'll do guitars! Someone needs to record the drums. Drums are pretty easy. The bass and piano are extremely easy, I'd record myself playing it on the piano, but mine is wayyy out of tune. The only other thing I have is a really crappy MIDI keyboard, lol.

I'd like to have alot of this leaked stuff. It may be worth something someday when everything Coldplay is rare ya know ;) I myself think it is cool to have a leaked copy of Talk, because if Talk is changed around, we'd have the original one. Although I do beleive that the leaked copy will be floating araound after X&Y's release, and it'll confuse people for when they download Talk. lol.

I have it, I just don't have the software to reverse it :cry: :cry:

No, I somewhat doubt Ladder to the Sun will make it. The song seems a bit technical to me, but that's my opinion. I didn't really like Ladder to the Sun. Though I loved the bassline. The song actuslly reminds me of Somewhere only We Know by Keane :)

I think the reporter may have released the track list according to what he/she thought it was. Let's just say that the reporter didn't have an actual tracklist, but based each song's title based on what chris sang in the chorus. That may explain why they named it, "Let's Talk" Or they mighta just did it wrong, or maybe Chris decided to change the name.

It'd look better if it had like darker colors. Though it'd look too much like a pre-Arobtth single. I was thinking something Sci-fi-ish.

I think it'll be very hard to find. Since D & G come out with new stuff each year, I don't know if they'd still manufacture Chris' Jacket. That was back in what, 2002? Idk man, email Chris and ask him ;)

Heh, I just heard that this is a probable song title on the album. I also recall that Will said that there'll be bits and peices of previously unreleased tracks. Possibly "Swallowed In the Sea" could be "Poor Me?" Comments?

My dreams are odd.... lol, funny as it is, I had this dream right after watchng Saving Private ryan. Ok, so Chris, Jonny, Guyy, and William were playing a concert someplace. Chris was about to start to play Don't Panic, and like always, he said something like, "This song is extreely weird," and it was..in my dream, i can vividly remember that it sounded nothing like don't panic, lol. So then after he finished, some guy in the crowd yelled, "Chris martin sucks his mom!!" aNd Chris goes something like, "Dude, screw you, go eat a crow!!" And like grabbed his acoustic and it magically became a machine gun, lol. Guy's like, "Oh snap!" and his bass becomes a stick (weird, yes). Chris starts blazng his machine gun at the crowd and Guy's just running up to people hitting then with a stick, it was kinda sad. Will and Jonny just sat there tuning guitars. Chris martin ended up driving away in a humvee with guy. And then I woke up, lol. Yes, very wierd. Then I had another one that was a bit more sane... So it was me and a few friends. I guess we were in a band or something. We were going to play at some party thiger and i guess we came there early to setup and do some sort of soundcheck. So we start playing all these Coldplay songs. Chris and Jonny and Amy Lee came in the room and hear us playing politik and decided to stop by i guess (loll). When we finished, Chris hgoes, "HOLY MOLY! THAT WAS BRILLIANT!!!" And Jonny just stood there. It got kinda wierd and I forget the rest but I remember that it ended up with Jonny making out with Chris and Amy Lee just walked away. Then the drummer hit me on the head with a drumstick and i woke uo. Though I found I fell on the floor, that's what hit my on the head, lol. But yeh, those are my 2 coldpaly dreams, lol.
