  1. well, at least she's ripping off from the best. I wonder if Coldplay themselves know about this.

wow just got 10,000 days and i am blown away. What a fantastic album. I still gotta give it a few more listens though, just like i did with lateralus.
  3. I love porcupine tree! They have many many great and beautiful songs. It's too bad their not too popular in the U.S. but that's alright... they don't need to be. I like Deadwing, but I think In Absentia and Lightbulb Sun are much better. Signify is pretty good too.
  4. yo momma's teeth are so yellow i can't believe it's not butter
  5. whether this story is true or not, i still think this guy's a jerk. Why's he so special? He's also said he thinks that he's better than John Lennon. WHo does he think he is? He needs to be punched in the face.
  6. Well, if you looked closely when Coldplay played "Swallowed in the Sea" live and they had all those writings lit up around the room, you could see somewhat of an "original" X&Y tracklist. I think it started out with Things I don't UNderstand (or was it the world turned upside down?)
  7. 1. Eddie Van Halen 2. Peter Frampton 3. Jimmy Page 4. The Edge 5. Jimi Hendrix

very aggressive, it takes a couple listens like "lateralus" but u come to realize that it's an excellent song. I can't wait to hear the rest of the album. I don't know how they could possible top Lateralus.

I thought it was just Vicarious that leaked, which by the way sounds really sweet.
  10. haha wow, bono got his haircut?! What a change, good for him. Bring on a new U2 era with shorter hair hah.

Tool! Yeah! Best band out there today. I can't wait to hear their new stuff, I bet it's awesome.
  12. I believe you forgot the part where chris came out to play swallowed in the sea and messed up, so he walked off the stage and walked out on the stage again and restarted. The only thing about the setlist is i felt like we got short changed.
  13. Wow what a concert! I think the best part was when Chris came out for the first song on the encore and he messed up so he went back and walked out on stage again. He's so funny. The one thing about the concert, though, is that I feel like we got short changed a little bit with the setlist, it seemed extremely short. And where was How YOu see the World?
  14. Wow! "Last Night On Earth" is a great U2 song, very underrated.
  15. Thanks for the dublin show Bonokeith7!
  16. I actually really like the first, original one better. It's almost like the picture's moving. I dunno, it's hard to describe. Great job.
  17. The only thing I like about Jay-Z is that he sang with Paul McCartney the other night at the Grammys. Otherwise, I think he's just another lame rapper who even retired for somer reason. Why? He's so young? If the Rolling Stones can still make records, why can't he? And don't even get me started on Kanye West.
  18. what's it about?
  19. haha I love these! Chuck Norris does not sleep, he waits.
  20. haha this guy's such a hot-head. I do agree with him though when he said that Chris Martin shouldn't use the event to promote anti-war feelings. But when Liam continues to insult Chris and Gwenyth, what's the point? It's unclassy.
  21. Yeah you're right. City of Blinding Lights would've been awesome! Oh well, maybe next year when they'll still rule the world. I agree with you. One is not an angry song and shouldn't be. It's too beautiful to be slaughtered by Blige. I didn't know that Bono said that about the One Campaign. I mean, the song does fit but to me it's almost as if the song One has turned into an advertisement for the One Campaign. Like at the concerts this year, Bono incorporates the song with campaign with the whole cell phone thing. Now, I don't like ripping on Bono but I have to admit he, too, takes away the true meaning to "One" by advertising it like that on tour. Like you said, it's a love song. It should not be used like this. Maybe the One campaign should be called the "Bono Campaign." :wiseguy:
  22. In December, I played my first gig at this bar with a bunch of other bands. I played Back in the USSR and Blackbird by the Beatles. It was such a great feeling. Next time I'm definitly playing more songs  .
  23. Poor Gretzky, it's a very bad situation for him. Tocchet in my opinion is screwed.
  24. Hah 'selfish' is definitly a good way of putting it. I too only wanted to see U2 alone, I don't want anybody else interfering (unless it was good ol Paul McCartney like during Live8). I think "One" was become the theme of 2005. The song has grown a deeper meaning as far as the Hurricane Katrina victims go and Africa/Live8 goes. It's the theme of Bono's message and campaign. We gotta "carry each other" and help one another. That is what he wants, in my opinion. One is a very powerful and emotional song. Hopefully I worded that right. I'm not very articulate haha.
  25. Yes, she completely ruined it. What were they thinking? What's so great about Mary J Blige anyway? And yes, Vertigo and Elevation are so much better live. They're so full of energy and really get you pumped!
