I'd say Wait Till Tomorrow. I love that song!

Grammy Awards 2006
The one thing I'm really glad about is that U2 beat Kanye West. Thank God! That guy doesn't deserve one award. However, I was disappointed Paul McCartney didn't win anything, but I am glad he sang a few tunes.

Frank Sinatra!
Yay Frank Sinatra! :D "Summer Wind" is a great song, my fav. Reminds me of, well, summer.

Is HTDAAB better than X&Y?
Be happy Coldplay at least got nominated for a Grammy. I mean, if you're gonna lose to a band it might as well be U2 (the biggest band in the world). Look at Paul McCartney, biggest influence on music. His fantastic album lost to Kelly Clarkson, an American Idol. That's messed up. The Grammy's aren't that accurate. So cheer up. It could've been worse. We'll get them next time.

U2
U2 IS the best band right now! It's about time the Grammys do something right. What I don't see, though, is how Kelly Clarkson beat Paul McCartney for an award. What's up with that?

***The underappreciated artists thread***
I think Porcupine Tree is a very underrated band (at least in the US, i don't know how popular they are in Europe). Doves are another band nobody really knows. And finally, (don't laugh) John Mayer Trio. I think John Mayer is an extremely talented guitarist but nobody really wants to listen because they think he's still about songs like "Your Body is a Wonderland".

Duran Duran
Great, great band! Ordinary World is such a good song.

The Wallflowers!!
I've only heard 6th Avenue Heartache which is a great song, I haven't heard much else though. He doesn't really sound like his dad that much.

Top 10 artists of all time RESULTS!
Yeah, of course Coldplay's number one. But great poll, it's definitly pretty interesting to see what people's musical interests are around here. I mean, I think the Beatles should be number one... but that's just my opinion. :smug: Great job.

American Idol Season 5
good show. I just find it amazing with all these people who truly think they can sing but obviously can't. Then they bitch about it after they get rejected. It's funny. Last year was the best season, Bo Bice was/is a great singer. I can't wait till he gets out of the American Idol contract and can start making real music.

A Perfect Circle
ha yeah i know what you mean though. Like in Judith, I think Maynard's voice is so powerful. But in songs like Parabol (not Parabola), is voice is chilling. DVD?! When did this come out?
-
U2
oh cool stuff, thank you. I didn't even realize it was on itunes.
-
A Perfect Circle
His voice is amazing, it's so powerful and he's definitly an awesome song writer. Lateralus is probably my favorite Tool album. It's much different than what they did before it. I love that song too.

U2
that site doesn't work for me :(
-
A Perfect Circle
Yeah I like tool better as well, such a great band. Yeah that's what I hear, and I think they're playing at some festival in Europe this summer. So, good things to come.

NHL Hockey is back
Let's go rangers, keep it up. Prucha is better than stupid Crosby in my opinion. He has just has many goals as Crosby, and he's just as skilled.
