They are not that similair, fix you is more amsterdam or warning sign, but its tough to compare to the old stuff, because i think the band obviously made a concerted effort to move forward, so its gonna sound different....

agreed. i usually think christiano ronaldo is a bit shit, but he was awesome on saturday.... i did have to laugh when scholes missed though. HATE PAUL SCHOLES..... one of the most overrated players of the last few years. he only retired from international football cos he knew he could never compete with lampard or gerrard.... :cool:

Got the album yesterday, it is rather good - favourite track has to be either Kids With Guns, or Dirty Harry... its a long album though, would be better with fewer tracks... still cool though.

everyone should buy it for two reasons: The b sides are stunningly good, well Things I Don't Understand is anyway, and Proof is rather good too. We cant really let a crazy frog beat coldplay to number one, can we? First Darius, now a frog - this is just taking the piss. :D

no i disagree. visually its outstanding, brilliantly directed. ok, i would have preferred a thought provoking video like Scientist, but this is also pretty special, gets better towards the end as it goes crazy... i'm wondering if they will be using the same sort of backdrop on the twisted logic tour? A panel with all the flashing lights would be cool....

excellent.... went to the york gig on monday, so amazing, second time i've seen him, he was loads better in an opera house. Best song: Beautiful Child???? Me thinketh so! when he and his band stripped down to the underwear it was magnificent, just the strobe coming on and him and his band dancing around like mad things. i thought i was in another world, it was scary, obscure and crazy and thus utterly brilliant! Old Whore's Diet indeed! :D

i didn't really love it when i first got it, was a bit of a let down after fix you. then i used headphones and it sounds really intense the lyrics are amazing. something like: "all you ever wanted was love/but you never looked hard enough/its never gonna give itself up/all you ever wanted to be/living in perfect symmetry"

the live recordings are going to be nothing compared to the actual studio version. cos the live versions are only special if you've been there... also lots of the net tracks are quite poor quality. i heard fix you live with a woman having a conversation through the entire first verse and chorus. although how she can dare do that is beyond me: fix you is possibly the best coldplay track i have ever heard.... :lol:

im seeing him monday in york, he is amazing, say him las year too, and he is playing glastonbury..... his last three albums have been brilliant....

theres a seperate link for fix you, but its mostly piano driven and chris sings really high on it.... im most excited about square one...havent heard it yet though

yeah fix you is uploaded, theres a link on the news page am loving this song...... tis absolutely fantastic will be quality on the album.... "lights will guide you home......" really eery and creepy yet beautiful as well.

cheers, am liking this song a lot. the sound of people jumping in rivers and smashing glass is quite distracting actually. its quite a different song to what i expected from reviews etc, think it will be a grower... maybe this albums warning sign?
