  1. Whaaaat? I don't care if people say they love Coldplay. I think, especially in my country where Coldplay have relatively never been heard of before VLV, the more love they get now, the better. At least now I have people to share the Coldplay love with. When they tell me they like VLV, I suggest a couple of other songs they might like from Coldplay, and now I get messages from a bunch of people whenever they fall in love with an older Coldplay song. it's cool. But I'll always be known as the 'Original Coldplay Fan' among my circle of friends and aquaintances. ;) And the more listeners they get here, the better, cuz then they might decide to perform here in this country in the future. ;)
  2. Short clip! :) [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UpOzHtN3mGU]YouTube - SLASHED: Chris Martin and Jonny Buckland in Horror Film![/ame]
  3. Slightly off topic, but still in relation to twitter... I was looking at my lecturer's facebook wall, and stumbled upon a shoutout of his: It saddens me a bit! The one who says Chris Martin sounds cold and high is also my lecturer. Grrr!
  4. ^ Oh that's nice. Remember that time a few years back when you kept saying you were ugly? Jeezus, you were a pain! :laugh3:
  5. Ooh I actually really like that.. Can I steal it for a friend of mine? His band name is in need of a change, URGENTLY. It's so crap, I cringe everytime he mentions it.:laugh3:
  6. Holy... Bahahahahah.
  7. Haha. Same here! I'd probably dress up just to go out and hang the clothes on the line! :laugh3:
  8. Rudy! I sent the email to you on the same day I posted that MUH vid here... Have you even tried listening to them?
  9. Thank you, dear! Hope it all works out fine! *fingers crossed*

  11. Aw! This is a really nice thread, Cobalt... :nice: I could do with a spare, please!
  12. I absoflippinglutely love Coldplay. I love them. This is... just the awesomeness.
  13. Wow. That last one was deep. And so true. I feel sorry for the bloke though. But he needs to be proactive.
  14. Oh wow, Zemy101. That... blew me away. Makes my music seem even crappier than I already think they are! :laugh3: But yes, I think adding a bass would complete the song and add the final oomph it needs. ;)

Ever since the Coldplay gig I went to last month, I've had 3 Coldplay dreams already. The first two were good, involving me going to their concert and a soundcheck... Last night, tho, I had an awful one. I dreamed Jonny died in a car accident and that the band's future were uncertain because of that. I found out about it through coldplaying.com and I was really depressed... And then the dream kinda altered to a third-person point of view and I was watching Chris, Will and Guy in mourning... And then I woke up, and I was so relieved!
  16. Urgh, looking at photos of Gwyneth makes me wanna go out for a jog. But it's always too frickin hot outside in this country!
  17. :laugh3: That video is too cute! And ooooh Embrace are in it! I was just listening to them today after so many years... :nice:
  18. The songs from Viva la Vida and Death and All His Friends seem to have garnered the most attention from people who usually listen to the Top 40... But I got hooked from Yellow, and The Scientist made me fall in love with the band.
  19. Hoyeah. This one deserves a repost!
  20. Wow. That is just... Wow. :stunned: I voted. And I'm still voting. ;)
  21. Woo! That entry has got me so flippin excited! Before long, a gentle and chilled piece builds up with an utterly joyous feel. It's a great kick-start to the week. Layers of vocals are added until it becomes a rich, complex weave.

Two hours ago all that existed was a loop in Will's laptop. Now there is solid piece that is joyous, beautiful and filling all present with enthusiasm.

  23. Good work, everyone! :nice: Oooh, I wish I could make a good jacket but then where would I wear it? This country's frickin hot all the time! Do you guys actually go out wearing those jackets? What reactions do you get from onlookers?
  24. That part was The Epicness! :laugh3: 'What the fuck is that up there?' 'Who the fuck put this on my shouder? Seriously.' :laugh3:
  25. Yeah I understand there would be copyright issues if we actually used the original recording reversed but what if we just took the reversed melody and reproduced it ourselves meaning its JUST the melody that's the same, without us actually sampling it? What if, say, someone liked the melody of 'Don't Look Back in Anger' played backwards and decided to take that reverse melody and make it into a proper song? This question has actually been bugging me for ages... :laugh3: Cuz there's so much potential for new tunes if you listen to some songs backwards. the tunes you get are sometimes surprisingly good.
