  1. Ya, tennis is pretty intense, at my age the only thing that is really lacking is the serves, otherwise there is so much running and footwork and technicality- ugh it kills me. I just hope to keep on getting better, especially since I'm putting so much time into it. On the other hand, I've never tried badminton besides playing really horribly in the backyard. Oh- and of you really are interested in tennis, you don't have to be super fit or have a perfect back. I don't know about where you live, but there are a lot of public courts in Toronto. If everything really kills, I suggest playing on clay, it is so much better on the knees and you get more absorption of everything in general. If you end up liking it, join a club. Club play for adults is usually really laid back. For juniors on the other hand it is just filled with constant lessons and tournaments- I think the adults have it easier than us! Oh and on Supernatural- I've never watched it before but it's seems pretty interesting.
  2. Ya, I was playing under 18's for my club, and the way it works is best of 12 (because it's the games that count, not who wins- I know- it's weird). And it was literally 6-6, which really sucks. Although it was quite satisfying at the same time I guess, because my opponents were way older than me.
  3. Ya except when your playing- then you get pretty darn stressed.

Well depends on what! Lasagna or Ravioli
  6. French open finals tomorrow- didn't quite want Sharapova to win woman's, but whatever. Had a very close doubles match today
  7. Good luck with everything, it'll somehow work out eventually. Oh- and don't worry about boys- they have cooties :)
  8. ^ And it was all... Yellow.
  9. Oh- and since this is a Coldplay forum- I'd like to point out that Murray totally sounds like Guy. Totally. Maybe a little more vulgar, but still...

Swim.... What kind of question is that? Green or Blue
  11. That's great! I have some doubles tomorrow!
  12. I made a thread about the French open not too long ago, but figured I was like the only one who cared. Nice to see I'm not the only one. And it totally agree with you- Nadal FTW
  13. I really want some ice cream...
  14. No you haven't posted it. Sometimes I hope it's all a publicity stunt. Chris must really have loved her to put up with her for so so long. I hope their kids don't turn out to be big headed diva's like their mother.
  15. Haha- literally, I've spent my whole life listening to my dad's stupid jokes that go a little like 'you know what BMW stands for? Bella Macchina Wagliò.' Ya, I suppose it might me the same (the dialect on my dad's side- the one on my Moms is definitely different.) I literally love your dialect though, the way everything is pronounced is the best.
  16. LOL!
  17. I probably don't know it. There are so many dialects in Italy, and so many are exclusive to little reserved areas. My Nonno and Nonna on my Dad's side come from the Puglia area, but I barely hear him speak it to his parents, because he was born and raised in Torino. My moms parents on the other hand were immigrants from a small small town in Calabria called Simbario. I know a whole lot more of their dialect, but I only because I picked it up after listening to my mom and nonna speak with each other in the dialect for so long, so I doubt I would be able to write it down. I think that one is modeled after Greek. The one fraise that comes to mind when thinking of the dialect is English- what are you doing Italian- Che fai Dialect- che facite (I probably spelt that way off, but you get the point) it's not completely different from Italian, in fact, it's pretty similar, but still pretty distinct. Another is English: be quiet Italian: Stai zitto Dialect: State citto The one thing my dad always says in his dialect- that I still don't completely understand, and definitely will spell wrong is something like walio (said pretty much how I attempted to spell it) maybe it's your dialect, maybe it's not, either way, whenever I get a bit of it, I end up just cracking up. It sounds absolutely hilarious.
  18. Oh no, I understand. Like I said, I can understand a couple of those dialects- every region or even town sometimes has one, and all of them are quite different from Italian.
  19. So you live in Italy but you can't speak Italian? Interesting... I can understand (for the most part) Calabrese dialect and a very small bit of Abbruzzese. If you hadn't already figured it out by now, the whole of my family are basically Italian immigrants.
  20. I think I'll take a bit of a watch- but then I better go to bed- I'm slowly dozing off- it's been a long day. Have a good night :)
  21. Maybe one day, though I'm still pretty sure I'd forget about checking things after a few days. I literally just never liked twitter. Either way, Moncton is in my heart. I wish I could just hug all of those people- who are probably scared out of their minds- and tell them that it'll be okay. And then make sure it would be okay. There are some wicked people in the world.
  22. Ya, I guess I missed it, but I'm sure it will be everywhere tomorrow. Twitter actually is a good idea for news and stuff like that, but I think CP24 every morning as I eat breakfast is good enough for me- Other than news purposes, I really don't have a good use for twitter.
  23. I was actually watching baseball for the most part tonight, don't know why, just felt like it. I turned to CP24 for a bit but all I got was once more elections and some storm video from the US.
  24. Thats absolutely horrible. Now I regret asking. The pure insanity in that man. Ugh- it makes me wonder how in the world someone could be driven to do such a thing. I really hope that everything will be all right there. Hopefully this guy won't do anything more. Sometimes the world is awesome, and then things like this happen. The worst thing is- is that I never heard of it. Literally all of the news here is the Provincial Elections, either that, or I just didn't catch the story.
