1. he is indeed Dutch.
2. I wished it would be a more colorful tshirt. The name of the winner (Geert Hagelaar) sounds Dutch. Googled the name and if I got the right one: he is a multimedia designer.
3. My contribution for today: - "Well I feel like they're talking in a language I don't speak" is my line of the day - 2 things got broken - my lasagna just "exploded" in the microwave and the day isn't over yet...
4. Another try: Compact could be abbreviated. Suitcase or Trunk - as in trunkated. What we hear now... Hymn for the weekend?
5. Haha. I'm going to hold on in the mystery.
6. *sorry to go off-topic* Now that you're mentioning it: "guy" could be a reference to Coldplay's bass player and you could be female too. :) Being a new member, have you already introduced yourself? Although, I'm having this hunch...
7. Clue2 is leading to another song, I didn't see that hint before. So here is another reasoning: suitcases --> travelling, flying, riding hear about it --> radio Intermediate song = All your friends --> Ride / Fly in the sunset - The call comes on the radio Which leads me to : Death and all his friends Or other songs who are "friends" related: - See you soon - We never change - Everglow Song that
8. Square One? The future's for discovering The space in which we're travelling Or Talk? You could take a picture of something you see In the future where will I be?
9. Probably not the same. But you should read about it and decide for yourself. I'm going to use mine again this evening. Concert time again. :)
10. Don't I deserve a little piece of cake too? :D Just joking, Iamsue deserves the next riddle.
11. Yeah, but the others have at least 3 so I was only counting to 3. :-p
12. Your World Turns Upside Down ? My reasoning: Every title has repeating letters : C I N in Princess of China, A S F in ASFOS, V I A in Viva la Vida. And the first letter --> Y is the last one that I can think of. O U R in Your World turns upside down.
13. This is the last thing that I'll say to promote earbuds / ear phones or whatever you name them:
14. If you get good quality earbuds they won't get out. Don't you have a peeping tone in your ears when you get back into the silence? Tinnitus can not be cured, so better be safe. Chris Martin knows all about it too.
15. Well, you have to get used to it, at first it was a bit strange. But the quality of the music is still fine, even with 25 dB filtering. The weirdest thing I had was when I clapped in my hands and almost didn't hear a thing. :) I also wait to take them out after a concert until I'm out the building, because of the difference in dB. People can make a lot of noise too. I agree that it is an expensive purchase if you don't do a lot of concerts, but I would be lost without them.
16. I think I'd better keep those to myself. :D Something to do with numbers and letters. But ASFOS is the odd one in the list, again.
17. I bought mine 5 years ago and the price was 175€ but I got a discount of 30€ from my health Insurance. It is a lot of money but I was doing about 20 - 30 concerts in a year and almost everytime at the front row. So good ear protection is not a luxury. I should get them tested because after some time the quality might get less - noise leakage & your ears keep growing when you're getting older :). Maybe you can get cheaper and good alternatives, like in a pharmacy. A friend of mine has the ER20 and is very satisfied with those. Everything is better than those foam plugs or wearing nothing.
18. They are custom made earplugs from Variphone. Mine have a 25 dB reduction filter. http://www.variphone.com/en/musician-earplugs-0
19. O M G. I always wear ear protection at concerts but I think -30 db is not enough when standing next to this person. She needs a valium.
20. Don't know if the challenge is still on. Doesn't have to be AHFOD.
21. A quick one
22. I'm seeing a lot of patterns. Too many to be good. :) Glass of water?
23. My ears started to burn. :)
24. Haha, I really liked to paint with my fingers when I was a child. This brings back the kid in me. :) Have you made a contribution yet?
