1. I'm moving to Mexico in a month so I'll be able to go but I'm having a hard time dealing worh the spanish on the websites lol. It's not sold out yet right?
2. That story made zero sense hahaha even though
3. I'm confused. Can someone explain to me in which chart and how long they have to be #1 to match the Beatles and if they have succeeded?
4. Noel is f*cking hilarious haha.
5. His albums are so soothing! I always listen to them while studying.
6. I don't want to wear out AHFOD to soon but it's the only album I want to listen to! #firstworldproblems
7. (I love how this turned into writing their actual history lol)
8. So... do we just need to be number one at the UK for just a day or is matching the Beatles not gonna happen?
9. Haha, I guess it must be magic:)
10. Although Coldplay are arguably one of the most ever-changing bands out there, there is something about them that doesn't change. And as long as that thing (whatever it is) is still there, I will always love their music.
11. You said albums with longer titles seem to be better yet your favourite album is X&Y[emoji1]
12. If they do take a hiatus for a while, they better come back with atleast 15 songs.(EXCLUDING INTERLUDES!)
13. Dang, seeing all these people with vinyls make me want to buy a vinyl player :) Anyway, here's mine with theme appropriate decoration :D
14. I think people bash on Coldplay's lyrics unfairly. They have lots of great lyrics: "I'm a dream, I die by light of day", "Leave your broken windows open and in the light just streams" these are all great lyrics but people only talk about the "Woo hoo"s and "I'm feeling so high" parts of the album.
15. AHFOD isn't poppy enough to just be called pop... I would call it pop rock
16. Nice to see so many people enjoying the new album! :D It's definetly one of my favourite albums by them so far. After a few more listens, I changed my mind a bit. I'm beginning to like Fun and Army of One a bit more. So I'll raise both scores by 0.5 :)
17. I divide them like this: Parachutes, AROBTTH, X&Y - The "Oldplay" stage VLVODAAHF, MX - The dawn of Newplay and more poppier sounds GS, AHFOD - Both albums have almost opposite themes, night & day
18. Wait. Nevermind, I'm beginning to think the little bit after Up&Up is just a piano...
19. GUYS. I FOUND OUT SOMETHING THAT WILL BLOW YOUR MINDS. (Maybe not so much) You know the muffled electric guitar strum after Up&Up? It sounds almost identical to the Elctric guitar strum in the beginning of O (Part 2-Reprise)
20. Nice to know someone shares the same opinion as me :)
21. Okay, I finally got to listen to it yesterday but didn't have time to write a review, so here it is: A Head Full of Dreams Very U2-ish as everyone said. Great album opener. - 7.5/10 Birds Great indie-pop song. Unfortunatly the abrubt ending takes away from it. - 8/10 Hymn For The Weekend "So high, so high"? More like "so bye". Nevermind, just kidding. It's Okay, I guess. Won't skip it but certainly won't be in my playlist. - 5/10 Everglow Beatiful song. The production doesn't bother me at all. I actually think the distorted "hey hey"s and electric drums fit nicely. - 9/10 Adventure of A Lifetime It does what it's supposed to do. Upbeat dancable song. The guitar riff gets a little bit repetitive for me. - 7/10 Fun (ft. Tove Lo) I was expecting generic sugar-pop from the title but it's actually great. I like how the meaning isn't "Wow! life is so fun!" as I was expecting it to be and was more like "We used to have fun, maybe we could again" - 7.5/10 Kaleidoscope This is by far my favourite interlude track. The ambient armosphere, soothing piano, and the narration fit really well together. - 9/10 Army of One I actually kind of like this song. Not much to say. - 6.5 X Marks the Spot It's not THAT bad. I feel like this would have been better if it had an actual rapper featuring in it. It's a very... odd song. - 4/10 Amazing Day This one has avery gracious and beautiful melody. I don't like it as much as others seem to do, but it's still great. - 8/10 Colour Spectrum It's just an interlude. Not that it's bad, but there is literally nothing to say about this. ?/10 Up&Up Aww... damn you Stargate! The only song that the production ruins for me. Why would you remove the piano? It's supposed to be a epic album closer, but it feels so empty. I would much rather have ten too many instruments than one too little. However, the amazing guitar solos and Hey Jude-ish sing along at the end make it up for me. - 9/10 The album itself is great in my opinion. I don't really mind the Production at all, and I love the bright, colorful atmosphere it has. 8/10
