  1. Yes! Although I would make Up&Up have acoustic drums and piano, also add the 8/8 beat guitar thing Jonny does to add a layer (if anyone understands what I mean lol) Maybe just mixing in crash symbals and snare drums could work? and just add in piano. I think we can just basically try to replicate the live versions:D p.s. It would be great if we could change the "believe in love part" to be more like the live version, but I don't see how that could ever be done with just editing and mixing lol.
  2. I don't think I can stand more than 3 years without new Coldplay songs...:P
  3. I'm just happy HLH made it so far:) I'll vote a bit later
  4. I don't know if everyone knows this, but in the universe of the walking dead, the concept of zombies never existed. That's why everyone is clueless about how to prepare or kill them and nobody calls them zombies.
  5. I really hope this is just a temporary measure because of bad voice conditions... It would be a real shame if this became the norm because of his voice getting strained.
  6. Square One
  7. Must... save... HLH.. Life in Technicolor ii (sorry guys:D)
  8. You mean the piano riff that goes: 123 123 12 123 123 12... (ya know) That's pretty cool:D
  9. When I heard Lianne Le Havas as the supporting act of Coldplay, I immediatly wanted to check her songs out, but now that I have, I must say I'm a little dissapointed. It almost feels like I'm listening to two different artists. Strange how live and studio versions can be so different. She's good, but not really my style. I don't know man... meh.

Harry Potter. Never was a big fan of the LOTR movies. Chocolate or Candy (fruit flavor)?
  11. I'm going to be devastated if this is their last tour...:(
  12. More like good for us!:D:D
  13. Yup! They give you love buttons along with Xylobands when you enter:)
  14. I think for this tour Up&Up fits because while Fix You is a sad but Hopeful song, Up&Up is a happy and hopeful song, and that fits this album better.
  15. Damn... all so good. Square One
  16. Well that would be awkward...:D
  17. @AMDB9 & @The Adversary I don't think anyone's tearing it apart or praising it tbh. Just worries or excitement.
  18. Where have we seen completely motion-captured videos before? It's not more innovative because "more money was thrown at it", it was innovative because it was the first time we had seen such technology in a music video before. And don't try to undermine the video with the whole beats pill thing that has nothing to do with this argument.
  19. The Yellow video having 50+ extras has honestly nothing to do with my point. It's about the result and at the end of the day, it is him walking on a beach. We're talking innovation and creativity here, and it being memorable because the sunlight changes throughout it isn't either of those. I don't think we're on the same page here, I'm just talking about creativity and innovation while you seem to be talking about the overall quality. I agree that music should be put above the video, and I think that the videos for IMP and Clocks fit the nature of their repsective songs, but again, that's steering away from the point. I like most of their videos (except for The Hardest Part, I mean wtf is that), and I'm not taking anything away from their earlier videos, I think their great. And I do think some of their newer videos are just too much(HFTW *cough cough* But when JUST talking creativity and innovation, the bewer videos come up on top.
  20. To be honest, it's not like early Coldplay videos were really creative... In My Place is just them performing in a white room, yellow is literally Chris singing on a beach, and Clocks is again them performing but with fancy lighting. The Scientist has a pretty nice video, but if we're talking innovation, AOAL is beats them all. I am pretty certain they were the first to make completely CGI motion capture music videos. The videos for Magic and Paradise both have stories, albeit clichéd, and I think stories count for some creativity points. Ofcourse, these things were only possible because they had become so successful, which is why they wouldn't have been able to do them back then. (And they wouldn't because it doesn't fit the theme of the albums) I would understand criticisms that their videos have become too ridiculous and poppy, but I think the creativity and innovation argument falls flat.
  21. Watching videos of their concerts, I thought Chris' voice had gotten really bad, but seeing them live, his voice was perfect! So now I'm not sure if his voice just happened to be great this show or if it's all the singing along and atmosphere that makes it seem like that.
