Nice to meet you all. Coldplay fan from London, England. Not really sure what to say here. I've been in love with the group since 'X&Y' (which I think is the best album of the century) and I really think they are one of the few outstanding acts to come out of the 21st century. Though I am a big Coldplay fan, in terms of knowledge and 'props' (right word?) I am probably more in the lower leagues; I still haven't seen them live (embarrassing, i know)!! Just wanted to check-in and say thanks for creating Coldplaying, most cool site! I am looking forward to interacting with other members. Just to tell you a little bit about myself... I was born in Surrey, and moved to the US when I got married four years ago. My wife Sara and I are expecting our first child, due February 27, and we are already getting so excited. I have been a fan of Coldplay since before they were signed and am very passionate about the guys and their music. Ummmmmmmmmmmm... hi! So I'm IcingOnTheCake, and I joined today as a 13th birthday present. I've been reading the forums for a few months now, especially the LOLdplay thread. My parents actually introduced me and my older brother to Coldplay. We have all the albums at home, but no EPs or anything like that. One of my short term goals is to go to a Coldplay concert and my long term goal is to become a doctor. I like birthdays for the following reasons: CAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE So... that's all there is to say about me really. I probably sound like a right idiot from this post though. I'm rubbish at introductions. :D

Okay now, it is time to introduce myself to you as I've been spending quite some time now over here. If you want to read my bio, click here. I am from Germany (south) and after an amazing concert in Munich (we've all been glowing like a huge Christmas tree) I was hooked up to Coldplay. I´ve been listening to Coldplay since 1999 when a friend of us got the Safety EP and I found it very interesting (taking into account the music of that time). I personally belong and I've been playing in the punk/hardcore scene for nearly 16 years but I do enjoy all kinds of music. I like The Smiths, Duran Duran, Depeche Mode, Joy Division, The Pixies, Polaris/Miracle Legion and many bands more and I truly enjoy their music although most of the music I listen to belong to the less known kind of music such as hardcore-punk scene with bands such as Dropdead, Limp Wrist, Los Crudos, Dischar…
