Don't let it bring you down. There are lots of intelligent ppl out there, musicians included, who love Coldplay. There are also lots of intelligent ppl out there, musicians included, who hate them. Hard to believe I know, lol. It's your choice and nobody else's!:D

Speaking of ppl putting others' musical taste down, I'm thinking it must be 'Official Loser/A**hole Week' on Coldplaying.com! We've had more than the usual share lately, lol. I thought trolls came out at Hallowe'en, not Christmas...:D

aw thanks, you are so right!!!

i'm more upset that i got upset so quickly because it unlike me to let something so small bother me...the good side is it showed how much i love the band to let it hurt me so...looking at the positive lol thanks tracie.

:idea2:

I'm so brilliant!!:smart:

I'm reading it for English class. We are up to the part a little after:

Simon gets killed.

"Kill the pig! Cut her throat! Spill her blood! Kill the pig! Cut her throat! Spill her blood!"

Yeah, we just finished The Alchemist. Well....most of us who actually read it did....:D heh...heh heh...

Ohhh Simon has got to be my favourite though

I remember reading it in seventh grade and NOT understanding it :uhoh:

Have you seen any of the movie versions? We did this reinactment of a trial that would happen after they would return home. I had the role of Simon's mother. Let's just say it was quite an emotional role.

Simon is my favorite character too! He kinda reminded me of myself. Like how different and weird he was, and how he always liked to be alone by himself. :P

I watched a little bit of the older movie in school. Of course we didn't see the newer one, because there were naked little boys running around...:laugh3:

Oh really? I guess that wouldn't work too well haha

But we saw the newer American version and the characters who were played by actors aged 11 to 12, sweared A LOT. lmao it was sorta funny, hearing them tell each other off.

Piggy looked so cute haha

Haha!

Was the American one the black and white one? I don't remember...:P

No it was in colour... made in 1999 or something?

But apparently the black and white one is much better because it follows the story more. I was honestly falling asleep through it

LOL.

This probably sounds really weird...but I was kinda dissapointed to see in the movie, Ralph was this is little boy.

In the book they discribed him as tall, lean, with a boxer's body. He had a pretty darn good build for a 12 year old. So I kinda imagined him as this really hot guy, :laugh3:

fock why did i not become a coldplay fan earlier??!?!?!?!?!

^^^ LMAO AnnieI know what you mean

I imagined Ralph with this short-ish but messy lush dark blond hair

:uhoh:

And Jack has the exact same person I had in my mind. A tall, really ugly guy. :P

I was upset with the whole Ralph thing still. :P

they were just these scrawny little brats, weren't they? :P

No offence, I'm sure they're great people and have grown up by now :uhoh2:
