What are you thinking right now - and why

 

It was good that I saw TV tonight (I saw two things: What if ...

 

The first one described the events around the Berlin wall in November 1989 and how events could easily have turned into the Third World War if the East German Police had started shooting at the people at the wall and the Russian coup against Garbachow had succeeded, and the Russians then wanted West Berlin. After the Russian threat the West ordered troops build-up in West Germany. Russia attacked the Western forces and at first Russia seemed to win, but the West managed to strike back destroyed Russia's air dominance and the supply lines. The West won part one including getting access again to West Berlin. Then Bush Sr. wanted to withdraw - the goal of access to West Berlin was achieved. But Russia was not sure of US' next step and used nuclear weapons. The West responded ---- and of course all went back. It was all over on both sides.

 

The second thing was what could have happened to Denmark if the Russians had got East Denmark - then Denmark would have been divided into East Denmark under Russian influence and dominance like East Germany and West Denmark would have been under Western influence. It ended with the reunification of Denmark (it was very much like the German reunification). Very interesting indeed.
