The U.S. is run by crony capitalists, and the bail-outs clearly prevented market forces from working, although one has to wonder if such a large failure would have precipitated a financial investment panic and then job losses down the line.

 

If the problem cannot be solved by the government since it is controlled by those cronies, then all that is left is amendments - which some say will take another financial crisis to precipitate, but that's a pretty hard hit to take to correct a system; I believe we will do it even earlier.

On some issues I think both sides agree - the money pouring into politics is a matter that is at the root of much which ails is, perhaps one point of agreement. and what else...:thinking: Maybe not much else!
