i'm listening faultline feat chris martin "where is my boy" and i think that is very beautiful song and chris's voice is so amazing!!! :) i've read somewhere that he said that he dont want to do any collaborations with other singers...well it is strange why he think so? what do you think? and what about that song do you like it? :)

Yeah, I'm not so sure about the collaborations thing, i mean, he did do a collaboration with Ron Sexsmith, apart from Faultline..so i wouldn't think he would have a problem. I think that the artist has to be someone he respects, but what do i know?...

I think it's probably his voice + the stormy sound effects in the background..it makes you think you're alone with someone, it's raining outside...and ya know.. :roll: :D

I love his singing. Great range and a presentation at once real, sincere, touching. Many years since me old ears have been so moved.

 

Best thing since Old Man gave up singing in the bath (it was the woodbines wot did it.)

I absolutely love all the songs he performs w/ Coldplay, but his other collaborations are also great. "Where Is My Boy" is just such a sweet, emotional song..but he still keeps the same vibe, which is nice. He stays at his roots.
