Saw it this afternoon. Really enjoyed it, even though i went in not expecting to. The trailer didn't make me want to watch it. Thought it was good, but there's bits of it really made me want to read the book.

 

If there's one rule in life its that the book is always better than the film!! I tend to avoid films if I've already read the book they're based on as i usually end up not liking the film because i expect things to happen and find they've been cut out or find they've changed a bit i really liked. If I see the film first, I usually enjoy the film on its own merit, and can then go onto read the book.

I tottaly agree with you, books are better then movies. I love both, but Hollywood can´t be as good as my mind.
