the music. i get high off it, especially the feeling i get when i've taught myself to play something really really hard thats way beyond my level and i'm not supposed to be able to play it. its the best feeling in the world.

guitar. the only song i can play is 7 nation army but nearly anyone can play that :lol:. I was looking at that rammstein band earlier and there guitar riffs are really good AND really easy, not sure bout bass though

that band who sings in German...i think thats really cool, just that they have the balls to do that, when all the other German bands sing in English cos that sells...i dont really know if i like them though :P

i dont like them that much. i just think that du haste is really funny because of this gay synthersizer bit in the song

yeah, I got that feeling when I learnt how to play all of Stairway To Heaven (including the guitar solo). I was ecstatic.

 

admittedly, I can now play it blindfolded, but at the time I was so incredibly proud.

yeah. learning to play Blessed Coma by Narcissus was like that for me....and learning bits of Anesthesia....i wanna learn the whole thing...

Stairway to Heaven is practically a rite of passage for any guitarist.

 

I used to work in a music store, and the "NO STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN" thing in Wayne's World made so much more sense to me after that. So many mediocre players who thought they were great tried to impress me with that dumb song that I can't hear those opening notes now without being overcome with rage. And to think I used to love that song (enough so that I too used to know how to play the entire thing)... :dozey:
