  I knew this would be funny! My reason for wanting to know was fairly random anyway  I was watching that svc, or some welsh channel that's called something like that, earlier but I kept hearing them use Irish words and I just wanted to know if their meanings were the same :idea2:

But I think I prefered learning hicksys welsh!

And I've no idea what Ian's saying! Could be something about pineapple toilets for all I know :idea2: .....care to explain?

ha..my nana owns a Choir...and i think she was part of a competition that was shown on the Welsh S4C (S4C~digidol is it's full name) channel. :hat2:

I kept hearing them use Irish words and I just wanted to know if their meanings were the same

it's cos they're both celtic based languages so are very similar. gaelic and cornish are also very similar as well apparently :idea2:

What do welsh people look like? I am irish/welsh (but don't have an accent of theirs), I am very interested. Is it true that they are mostly petite and dark haired, fair skinned? Then I can feel like I belong! :idea2: Or I can blame my shortness on something... :)

 they look very much like normal human beings

like english people...

they just have an affinity to small furry things
