Why thank you David! Such a charmer, no wonder youve hit all those G's.

Aaanyway, yes Esther, I was also going to mention Dan Browns the Illuminati. Interestingly, Ive read about 4 books on the Illuminati, as well as all of Dan Browns books EXCEPT the one on the Illuminati, odd, huh?

I guess I just lost interest in it at the last second, I'll get around to seeing to it sometime though.

Now for me to answer my own question:

Music: Jeff Buckley's Grace SPECIAL EDITION (Which includes the original Grace CD- totally retarded, who would buy this without having already owned the original CD?-his only album, fucking jack up the prices by a third, but sweet extra CD and DVD though)

Book: Naomh Chomsky's "Understanding Power", not an actual Naomh Chomsky book but a revision of all his lectures and readings compiled by Peter Mitchell and John Schoeffel. Great if you've read most of Chomskys books, very derivitive but it suits this style of book.

TV Show: The West Wing, just, great. Little Britain, retarded comedy but I love it. Uh, I guess thats it.

west wing is a great show, i just never get time to watch it :(

i don't think its such a great book if it would be i would have sped throught it and got addicted like i got addicted to the da vinci code...ah well i have it here with me right now but i can't really be arsed reading it

ph i just remember that i don't have to read it anymore...my brother have me the hearing book (word?) for xmas...so i can write on boards and "read"...genius idea of him... :D

Haha that listening to a book is a cray zay idea. Its very hard to imagine doing it (For me) but I should try it sometime.

Yes, the content of the Da Vinci Code was certainly a lot more interesting than anything I've read on the Illuminati. Even the most exclusive information leaves a lot of stuff vague and Im not even sure if an Illuminati exists. I mean I've read of theories and explanations behind actions of different governments that could be interpreted as actions of an Elite, but it could merely be coincidences of a certain time. MEH to that.

i usually like to read book instead of listening but i think that will be the only chance for me to ever finish this book. :embarrased:

i understand what you mean but thats the whole problem (fascination) about such theories that you don't know if its tru or not or just coincidence. :P

Yeah heh, I guess I like some sort of ultimate conclusion to my books instead of just "Someday we may see if this is true or not dear readers!"

Well not really, but some of the crap was like, REAAALLY stretching a coincidence. Oh well.

Yeah heh' date=' I guess I like some sort of ultimate conclusion to my books instead of just "Someday we may see if this is true or not dear readers!"[/quote']

same here esp if the story book is actually just fiction

update on my music situation : i am really listening to Brandan Benson's Lapalco now (i love that album... :D )

Listening to:

Jeff Buckley - Grace (Legacy Edition CD 2)

Reading:

nothing

Watching:

Little Britain

Naomh Chomsky's

I did read of Chomsky, Rogue States

im watching Farienheight (kill my spelling) 9/11

  • Author

You read Rogue States? Rather strange for someone to choose an analysis on such a wide ranging historical matter of The Superpower, while relating everything to their reactions to the war on the Balkans.

But thats what made THAT book brilliant, and what can you say about Chomsky? Everything he does is of such a high standard. Understanding Power is amazing because its an un-rehearsed true test of his knowledge, displayed infront of hundreds of people in lecture halls, with tough questions and responses (And sometimes insults) being thrown at him, he takes it on the chin and gets on with the facts. And he has such an amazing, unbelievable background knowledge. So much so he has a problem stopping himself instead of going into even greater detail on, really any major (And often minor) political incident in the last 50 years.

well it sucks and its giving me a headache.

im watching Farienheight (kill my spelling) 9/11

Decent viewing for the first 20 or 25 minutes, and then it just spins off into an awful boring state of viewing.

Someone needs to do an Anti-Michael Moore documentary, theres lots of books around.

Moore is as dangerous as everything else if you don't have a real clue whats going on

i am very sceptic there

i agree with reilly on his critique

exactly.

Yes, Michael Moore criticises how the American media uses scare tactics on the American public. So what does this fatass do? He releases trailers of his movie that depict our World Leaders as pure idiots.

Bush Jnr IS an idiot, no doubt, but hes got plenty of people around him advising him on policies to keep America fairly straight and narrow.

Moore claims hes simply exposing the truth, but truely hes editing to influence us that we're living in completely screwed times. We've been screwed for a long time, so in comparison right now isnt too bad. Moore is just as dangerous as any of the media he holds accountable.

im reading reilly's avatar and listening to my mom and dad..kidding eww thats vile... moms cookin some meat and im listening to its sizzle. and i dont give a rats azz if this wasnt included but im tasting diet coke. :wink3:
