Oh ... I can completely emphathize with the feeling. You don't talk to them in person but then get into a more secure setting (in my day, it was on the phone) and you feel a lot more comfortable joking around and taking more control of the conversation ...

 

... but remember: Guys aren't smart. If you did actually talk to him and person and started paying more attention to him, he wouldn't think it was because you liked him. Guys aren't smart enough to think two steps ahead like that. Their reaction are very visceral: "Mandy nice. Mandy friend."

 

If you just be nice to him in real life, just treat him good, then he'll eventually start liking you. Just talk to him about normal stuff, and eventually he'll talk himself into liking you ...

If Matt kind of liked you before, then you're OK. In fact, you're probably in good shape, and he probably wishes you two were talking more.

 

If Matt is a really nice, smart, thoughtful kid ... if he's mature beyond his years, then you're OK.

 

But if he's only nice and smart, or if he only kind of liked you before ... then you might be in trouble.

Basically, think about this situation: worst thing that happens is he doesn't like you, right? That sounds bad, but let's face it: in the long run you can live with it. hahaha...he meant like, well he told me that he missed me and that he wants to start developing our friendship again then this other part he told my friend (then i wanna see if any sparks fly between us)

and yesterday during music class everyone was working on stuff and i was sitting down going over my song and stuff then he started playing "clocks" on the piano and he looked up at me and smiled...and i like..died lol (and he KNOWS i love that cos last year he'd do that and I'd be like omg matt i LOVE that haha)
