On a different note, I have to write some poems for a portfolio in any form of my choosing, problem is I don't know any form of poem. Any help from the poets on here?

can't remember anymore, sonnets are usually for courtly love themes or something like that but if you look at Tony Harrison's work he uses it to display views and emotions, usually in meredithian form though, and also consistent use of verse :cool:

the thing is he`s a nice guy, maybe a bit self-centered (or is it his insecurities?), he doesn`t do any harm. i don`t see anything bad in finding out if people think you`re hot or not. this is a free message board which means you`re allowed to post anything as long as you do not offend anyone else (like it took place yesterday in that I NEED YOUR HELP! PLEASE! thread in the launge forum). albie get a lot of attention and some of it is negative but let`s face it without him this message board would be sorta boring. last night when he wasn`t here some people (i`m not calling names) felt bored cuz the message board was dead empty and we don`t want it to be dead empty but full of people. positive, open - minded, cheerful, intelligent (excluding myself), tolerant people.

he IS. he`s only a bad boy when he`s being provoked and that took place yesterday. cam seems to really dislike him and she always finds a way to make him act like he`s the bad one. he`s not.

 

everything would work just fine if people who dislike him didn`t give a shit and simply ignore him instead of provoking him and starting a senseless fight :confused:

Ok, now this is totally not biased, I swear, but Camille is not always the instigator with his one. When she wrote about her brother joining the military, Albie was the one who wrote some rather insensitive and ignorant remarks which upset her. I don't think Camille was overreacting with that one because anyone would be mad about that.

 

I think that Albie has been pretty good, but he's not perfect, that's for sure.
