I don't support anyone, only the Dutch team during the World championships :P

Manchester has got fans from over the whole world! :cool:

The Dutch team have great players and should do better in the World Cup and European Cup with players like van Nistelrooy, Robben, van der Vaart, van der Sar and Stam etc.

I don't have a problem with people in other countries supporting them, but if you are in the country of origin, you should either support the local club, or at least have some kind of connection as you have!!

Eline, its because Dutch players are quite good and as i follow quite a lot of football i know these things lol .. where abouts is Voorschoten in Holland?

Voorschoten is in de Randstad, near the city Leiden (also quite near to Den Haag/The Hague) and near the beach (near England! :blush: :P )

Voorschoten is quite a small town and mr Squared likes to call it a 'kaff' :dozey:

why do they call Holland either the Netherlands or Holland, i don't understand why it has 2 names? :confused:

it's officially the Netherlands, but that's such a mouth ful :P We also call it Holland because the upper part of the Netherlands was called that way long ago (those provinces are still called North-Holland and South-Holland) so sometimes people call the whole Netherlands Holland, just for the sake of convenience ;)
