I thought i read on this site that they actully lost out by delaying the album, because they missed their bonus for not releasing the album last December when they told EMI the album would be ready for December.

I believe the record label lost a lot of money, though I'm not sure about the Coldplay thing...but check the info on that on this site and I'm sure you'll find it somewhere :)

coldplay missed out on a bonus, but they didnt care because they really benefitted from the extra time, making the album better......basically they did the right thing and worried about the music not the money.

Yep, they don't care as much for money as some bands would.

i know they dont think this way, but i mean if you spend more time on the album and make it better it should sell more, so in turn that is more money.....

Haha, if you look at it from that side.. Maybe Coldplay cares secretly more about as they want us to think.. :P
